- Find yourself in the heart of beautiful Tamarindo Costa Rica. Tamarindo certainly lives up to the worry free Pura Vida lifestyle, while providing ample options of activities. Sunrise #18, affectionally named 'La Dura Vida' or 'The Rough Life' by the owners is perfectly situated directly across the street from the beach access and within walking distance to dozens of restaurant options. A brief walk up the beach will offer inshore and offshore fishing charters. However, Tamarindo is most notable for it's consistent surf break. From beginner to expert, visitors will surely find Tamarindo meets their surfing demands. Spend your evening enjoying a walk to one of the numerous dining options under a canopy of palm trees with your feet in the sand. For those that need a little more excitement, an after dinner stop at the local casino will provide gamers with Blackjack, Poker, Slots and more....moreless

Beautiful, well located condo
Beautiful, well located condo
We spent 4 nights at the condo and it was wonderful. The location is perfect, the condo spacious and well decorated and the pool is fabulous. We had two minor issues, but these were handled quickly and efficiently by either the management company or the condo maintenance. We cooked most meals in the unit and were quite pleased by the local produce and chicken. (Some of the best we have ever tasted). Also, right across the street (and down a block) at the Witch's Rock, you can get great "Big Ass Nachos". Go for happy hour to get a discount and watch a great sunset. Only suggestion....no salt or pepper in the unit.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, sightseeing, tourists without a car.
As a procrastinator, I messaged the owner the night before I arrived in Tamarindo because I saw the apartment available and he was quick to respond and connect me to his team in tamarindo that took care of everything for me, this was the closest thing to "instant apartment booking" with top service. We were 5 people in the apartment as 2 couples and a single guy, we were extremely comfortable, but could have definitely fit a few more if need be. The entire kitchen was complete with appliances, utensils, and a few free welcome beers. My only complaint is that the VRBO photos do not do justice for how big this apartment really is! I highly recommend anyone to stay here because you are close to the beach, safe, and will stay very comfortable for your stay in Tamarindo.

About the owner: The owners fell in love with Costa Rica when Andrew and Courtney were engaged on the beach at Tamarindo in March of 2010. They furthered this love affair by marrying in January of 2011 in Manuel Antonio on the southern Pacific coast. The couples dear friend Walker also found the country special while attending the wedding. Five months later, the three of us owned our little part of paradise.
Why the Owner Chose Tamarindo:
Quite simply, this condominium is in the very best location in Tamarindo. The condo is well decorated and offers all of the comforts needed to rough it for a vacation. The large pool and proximity provides a family friendly vacation option for us with children ranging from newborn to 12 years old. As avid fishermen, Tamarindo provides ample fishing options, however the dining and shopping option are second to none in Costa Rica.
