Painted Ponies in Sayulita is a uniquely beautiful vacation home that has just been completed. Elevated just enough to give a breathtaking 180 degree view of the ocean and jungle facing out towards the ocean and town, you may find you never want to leave the house. But it’s just a 5 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. The grounds are spectacular, overflowing with tropical flowers and lush palms. The house has an infinity edge pool and Jacuzzi that is heated looking out to the endless ocean views. Painted Ponies in Sayulita is perfect for a small group or family, with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths and can seep up to 10 people comfortably.
This custom home was designed and built as a labor of love. The architecture is a contemporary coastal palapa with some very old world Mexico. The space is tranquil, organic and harmonious with nature. Walk through the entrance towards a spectacular ocean view and sparkling blue water of our large infinity pool and Jacuzzi. You are in the “great room” with seamless travertine marble floors and one of the largest palappas in Sayulita . All the furniture has been custom made for the house. The bar is ready for you to prepare your drinks and relax and enjoy all the amenities with a wine fridge, icemaker and dishwasher. The kitchen is a perfect chefs kitchen with subzero fridge and freezer and 6 burner gas stove all appliances are the “Professional Series” 2 dishwashers, a warming oven to keep those meals hot while you are being served. It’s possible to have a private chef come in and prepare your meals and tend your bar! There is end-less granite countertops for meal preparation for any amount of people. The dining area seats 10 and is right off the kitchen for easy access. The pool and Jacuzzi patio sit between the great room and the ocean view. The BBq area is adjacent to the kitchen with another table and chairs for el fresco dining with a very large built in gas BBQ with rotisserie. The pool deck has several lounges and a circular one with a canopy for shade. There is a secluded roof top tanning area for those wanting the early morning sun or some quiet time alone.
The romantically appointed master bedroom with private patio has a king size hacienda style bed with top of the line mattress and down duvet for luxury and comfort. The en-suite bathroom has 2 sinks with granite countertop and a luxurious deep bathtub that is made for 2 overlooking the ocean, and a separate shower. All bedrooms are air conditioned and have overhead fans and floor to ceiling sliding parotta wood doors with screens and personal safes. Another master suite is situated on the same floor at the other end of the house and has a King size bed with a 12 foot wide headboard all one solid piece of parotta wood. Fantastic ocean views and en-suite bathroom with a very unique shower with waterfall and 3 body sprays all within an open air view to the ocean. No attention to detail or quality has been overlooked. There is a third bedroom just a few steps down from the pool that boasts 2 Queen size beds with down duvets. The design of the matching beds are from the “Palace of Versallies” outside of Paris, France. The bathroom has a massive shower that has dual everything in it! 2 rain water showers with separate controls. This is a great bedroom for a family with kids. Off this bedroom there is an ocean view and its own private patio.
There is a separate Casita with another king size bed and a full kitchen including a dishwasher, all granite counter tops and desk. The Casita has a very large bathroom with huge shower, open air and taking in some fantastic views. A private patio with a sleeping couch offers some quiet times for those lazy afternoons.
The whole house enjoys the benefit of a water purification system. The pool is perfect for swimming laps or simply lounging. It can be heated upon request. The Jacuzzi easily seats 6. The entire property includes wireless internet and has a satellite system for the large 42 inch flat screen TV. The TV is in a separate room off the great room that is an office with a very large desk for anyone that might need to put in a little office time. We refer to this as our “West Coast office” if anyone wants to know where we are…..
The property is entirely gated with remote control gates will let you bring your car inside the property.
Housekeeping is 3 to six days a week depending upon your preference. Our fantastic house managers, Gabbi and Nick will be your liaisons, providing personal service. They will be available to make your trip as comfortable as possible, connecting with you before you arrive.
