Beautiful warm cozy cabin!!
Beautiful warm cozy cabin!!
Cabin was cozy yet spacious. My husband and I went there to 'marry ourselves' for the weekend. We had a wonderful time, only left the cabin once to make the 10 min drive into town to go to the grocery store. Very cute town, and the cabin was decorated nicely as well. Hot tub was very nice, as are the new stainless steel kitchen appliances. Cabin comes equipped with everything you might need, from a humidifier to a heating pad, games and books, bathroom stuff in case you forget something, to sporting equipment. Awesome secluded cabin! Tanya is GREAT to work with as well, very nice family!

Owner response: I am sooo pleased with the new energy efficient and highend washer/dryer, fridge and esp. the range as well :) That the gas stove has 5 burners ranging from 5k to 17k (Superboil burner!) so spend less time waiting! "Dinner is served". Besides they look stunning, the fridge and freezer has more capacity too so can be loaded up with all kinds of epicurean delights! Thanks Michael and now you've found 'your place' I will look forward to you returning again and again!
Thank you so much for letting us have our wedding at your awesome cabin. It was perfect! A truely authentic and cute log cabin! The aspen trees surrounding the cabin were beautiful. It is suprisingly private for being close to a main road. We will definitely be back!

Owner response: Hi Kris and Eric! First, congratulations on your wedding and so glad to hear the cabin served as hoped for the celebration! What a beautiful place and yes, time of year with the change of seasons and aspen colors to have it :) I also love how 'far away' it seems - the tranquility of the cabin and surrounding property but yet, great, close access and within minutes of the mtn towns (w. no rough dirt roads) :) Thanks again for being wonderful guests, congratulations(!) and we look forward to hosting you again!

My husband and I were looking for a romantic get away for our anniversary. We have been looking for a cabin in the woods for a little while now. This was the first we found where the neighbors weren't within view. The hot tub was perfect for star gazing and we even saw part of the milky way which was a great surprise. There were nice places to hike and walk right by the house. The kitchen is well stocked. The house has fun books, movies and even musical instruments. We had a great time and highly recommend this property. We hope to visit again. Oh yes and check out the South Park museum in Fairplay. We spent 3 hrs looking at all of the history from the area.

Owner response: Hi Lana, thank you for the feedback. will absolutely address the concerns and insure dusting and under couch is thoroughly cleaned for any hidden dust bunnies! Also, the stove is a propane burner stove so sometimes the clicks for each burner to start it differs or to use a match. (new entry November... got new appliances!! :)
We had such a wonderful time at this cabin! Everything was neat and perfect, and it was very well stocked. The surrounding area was beautiful. WiFi signal and cell phone were reliable - we had no trouble getting a signal. My six-year old loved the drum set, and the little gray rabbit that made an appearance off the deck every morning and evening! Lots to do in the surrounding area. We hiked local trails and it was a scenic, easy drive to Breckenridge. We also really enjoyed South Park City that was less than a 10 minute drive in Fairplay. The hot tub was a nice thing to come back to and relax under the stars. We had a very relaxing vacation and would definitely try to stay here again if we go back to the area.

Perfect for our Girls' Getaway
Perfect for our Girls' Getaway
We are three high school friends who had a terrific stay at Tanya's cabin to celebrate our big milestone birthdays. It was perfect for us -- we each had our own spaces to sleep, and it also gave us a cozy place to hang out together. We hiked and visited Breckenridge during the days, and cooked and ate and watched movies and went into the hot tub at night. It was exactly what we were looking for, and Tanya made the rental process as painless and easy as it could possibly be. Very satisfied!

Owner response: So glad you had a wonderful time with your friends and the cabin was chosen to be place of such celebration and memories created! love it!
We had the best time staying in this beautiful cabin in the woods. My husband, myself and our two daughters ages 8 & 10 stayed, played and relaxed all you need to bring is your clothes and food everything else is provided for you. The hot tub at night with all of the lights off is a must...millions of stars and the smell of ponderosa pine....you can't beat it. The pictures do not do this cabin justice....it is beautiful and so relaxing. We saw a beautiful mule deer come right up to the porch and then up the back ridge. Tanya is awesome, she answered any and all questions that we had and we very prompt to get back to us.

And while common, I'm also pleased to hear some of the neighboring wildlife came to visit - always such an 'awe' treat :) Thank you for being such wonderful guests! South Park, Mtns and esp. the Cabin look forward to hosting you and your wonderful family again!
The cabin was everything we could have asked for and more. It truly was a home away from home in a beautiful and secluded mountain setting. We would recommend this property to anyone and hope to return soon!
