ROMANTIC, HIGH END STUDIO, FULL BATH, LANAI with View
Very lovely, finely finished, Haleakala, garden, and tropical view from the lanai on the 4th floor. View of beach is the one that is a two minute walk down the driveway.
The other views in photos are from the lanai. There is a view just big enough to see the West Maui Mountains and a bit of ocean also.
Walk to Hawaiian Moons Health Food Store and MANY other South Kihei shopping areas and strip shops. Nicely furnished. Walk to Kamaole I beach in a couple of minutes, simply down the driveway. Many of the islands best beaches are on this side, and all very close, with much variety.
This unit is for two people who can share the one bed. It has a queen bed, and is A/C equipped with Ceiling Fan also.
The room is tasteful and beautifully finished. The sheets are 100% cotton with 400 thread count.The bathroom area is finished in granite and modern wood cabinetry.
There is a mini frig,microwave for light food warming, and hot plate. There is a toaster and coffee maker. Minimal counter space for preparation.
All supplies for eating are provided: dishes, glasses, cups, silverware, storage containers, pan and pot. A Britta Water Filter is in the room for purified water. No need to buy and carry water to this rental.
There is wifi internet and standard cable, flat screen TV and DVD player. Provided for your beach convenience are 2 Tommy Bahama Beach chairs, umbrella, 2 Body Boards, and cooler. The condo complex has pool, hot tub, tennis courts, sauna, and undercover parking.
This unit is not wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator and then once you arrive on the 4th floor, there is a zig zag walkway that has 3 sets of 6 steps. So, it's good exercise. I enjoy the walk, and always take in the surroundings, and walk off some of that great Maui banana bread I've been enjoying.
There is also a shorter way to get up by simply taking the stairwell that puts you right at this condo at the top.
BBQ areas for your enjoyment. This is a non-smoking, condo including pool area, building and hallways. 25% to reserve.

DESCRIPTION OF THE AREA
Kihei is home of the BEST Maui has to offer. Kihei is a LONG beach community that features, boating excursions, whale watching (seasonal) swimming, scuba diving, snorkeling, paddling, boogie boarding, surfing, windsurfing, beach volleyball and canoeing. Enjoy sunrises over Haleakala and sunsets over the ocean. Casual to elegant dining, dancing and karaoke are all within easy walking distance. The property is located directly across the street and within steps of one of the BEST adult and family beaches, Kamaole I Beach Park. This beach has a great snorkeling reef to the left featuring beautiful coral, abundant fish and turtles! There are also shallow tide pools where young children can enjoy sea life exploration. You will enjoy white sandy beaches and boogie boarding waves. All three Kam Beach Parks have lifeguards, grassy areas, picnic tables, restrooms and outside showers.
The nearby Kihei Boat Ramp offers snorkeling and diving adventures. About a mile in the northern direction, surfing abounds. Two Kihei located canoe clubs offer visitor canoeing. 15 minutes and less for Elleair, Wailea and Makena Golf Courses! Enjoy walking along the sandy beach oceanfront trails and walkways of luxury resorts from Kihei to Makena.

This suite was in the perfect location. When we first arrived we thought it was a little tight comparing it to the photos but as the week went on we realized it was everything we needed, we were almost never there with all that Maui had to offer. We were big fans of the beach chairs, umbrella and mats supplied and even if you don't rent a car, you are literally 5 mins from a fantastic beach. Our hostess was awesome. She made it her business to ensure we had all we needed and her personal touch set this vacation apart. The only reason I didn't give this suite a higher score was because of circumstances beyond our control. The unit shares a screen door with the neighboring unit, a common foyer if you will and it got very loud very often, one of the things that you sometimes encounter at hotels etc. There were tons of kids at this particular place but the resort had a no noise policy after 10p.m. so late night partying never happened. We were able to rest and cannot wait to return to wonderful Maui.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with young children.
Owner response: Well, I can understand how anyone might feel overwhelmed by noise during the high season of Maui, here in any of the south Maui condo complexes. There can be many kids and play abounding. And yes, it's GREAT to have an after 10pm noise curfew. Regarding the "shared" screendoor mentioned, it's not exactly how it sounds. In this particular complex, Kihei Alii Kai, there are cement walls, so no matter where you are, there is always that in between you and whomever is in the next unit. There is a photo of the shared foyer in the photo section. And there is complete privacy, even on the lanai. Yet, the same cement wall is between you and next guests over. So, Don't exactly see the problem mentioned as the real issue. Just the noise of people having fun, which is everywhere. I've handled the Beach Towel issue, by now giving an extra set. This unit has no laundry provided. So, you need to go to a laundramat in nearby North Kihei. This is one of the reasons why this unit is priced "down" a bit, so that people who want a smaller daily rental fee, and DON'T care about laundry, can find a way to vacation in Maui on a smaller budget. I'm glad for that. I do provide extra sheets also, and am happy to come by and drop off clean towels too, if you stay for awhile. So, there's my answers to these concerns. It's a GREAT place, and I've had people stay for even 6 months in this little studio and be overjoyed by the location, "everything you need supplied" attitude, and love of the opportunity to stay and dip in deeply.

Sweet little nest with everything you could possibly need! Grace has covered all of the details. All you need to bring is your swimsuit! The property is in the heart of Kihei, close to all of the great beaches and shops. Hawaiian Moons grocery store is a block away and has everything, including local produce. It's quiet and peaceful, with excitement right around the corner. We especially loved the Poolside Cafe with live music and a nice menu.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Easy check in. Grace is a great host who makes sure everything is to your satisfaction. Condo is in excellent location only steps to the beach. Restaurants close by. Studio Condo decor has wonderful tropical flair and very tastefully done. The lanai is a nice size with a bench for relaxing. The lanai has a table and 2 chairs as well. Was great to enjoy breakfast on the lanai with the sun shining and great views of Haleakala. The condo complex has a nice sized pool with a great hot tub that soothes and relaxes after a long day at the beach. Highly recommend staying here.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Great location, 3min walking to the beach and the restaurant. Also very close to the airport. Very smooth and flexible check-in. Grace is so nice to let us get in as soon as the studio is cleaned. Great staying and view, very comfortable bed to provide us great sleep for 3 nights. The community has swim pool and spa if you want to stay in the water after sunset.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

If you are reserving within the 30 days prior to your start date, the entire balance is due in order to reserve the unit. As soon as I receive your final payment, I will send the lock box code. The front door key will be in there. Your unit key will be inside the lock box of your unit, in the foyer interior entrance. A separate key to the pool areas will be left inside the condo for your use. Be sure to leave the key inside When you leave.
