Our 2 bedroom 2 bath quiet corner end unit is decorated beautifully, has many windows, and receives lots of sunlight. So many, in fact, that we have push-button electric roll-down shades. The living room has two balconies with sliding glass doors, one for firewood storage and the other to sit out in the sun.
The beds are superb. They include a Cal-King in the master bedroom, a Queen in the second bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a wood burning fireplace, stereo, iPod player, TV + VCR, and high-speed wireless internet.
The kitchen and bathrooms have recently been renovated with new counter tops and sinks! New carpets were installed October 2005.
Walking distance to Canyon Lodge perfect for skiing/snowboarding in the winter and hiking/biking in the summer! Our building has its own outdoor jacuzzi and the Mountainback campus has a swimming pool open in the summer with bbq area.

Year Purchased: 2005
About the owner: We are avid skiers and have been coming to Mammoth since we were little kids, well before Canyon Lodge was even built. But we also love Mammoth in the Spring, Summer, and Fall ...in fact, maybe more. The lakes are gorgeous and there are so many of them to hike to.
Why the Owner Chose Canyon Lodge:
We looked - this was eight years ago - at quite a few condos but we chose this one, at Mountainback, because it had such a warm, comfortable feel to it. Its second home for us. Plus no other condo that we ever looked at had so many windows. The living-dining room is almost all wraparound windows with a huge fireplace in the middle. If you stand back and gaze out, its like standing in the forest (just don't look down 'cause the road and the houses give it away).
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We installed roll-down window shades primarily to protect the furniture from the sun when no one is home. They are electric, wireless remote, so you just push a button to operate them. The button is on the kitchen column. They also provide insulation in winter so we encourage you to lower them at night.
