We know that you will enjoy staying in our little bit of paradise - our home away from home - Key West's Crown Jewel. This is a two-bedroom, two-bath, penthouse condominium with 1350 square feet of living space.
Enjoy absolutely breathtaking ocean views and the colors of the sunset from the 35-foot balcony, as well as from both bedrooms and the living room. If your stay is over July 4, you will have an excellent view of the fireworks display that is launched from White Street Pier.
Master bedroom has king-size bed with memory foam mattress; second bedroom has king-size bed with memory foam topper. Queen-size sleeper sofa with memory foam topper in living room. Luxurious linens on beds.
Upgraded appointments include high speed wireless Internet access via cable modem (just bring your laptop), a flat-screen television with Hi Definiton Cable TV and a Bose surround sound system in the living room, as well as TV/VCR/DVD players in each bedroom. A small selection of CDs/DVDs are yours to enjoy during your stay. iPOD docking clock radio in Master bedroom. Telephones in each room with free local calling. Answering machine provided to take your calls while you are having fun in the sun! Large, fully-equipped newly renovated kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The property features a nearly Olympic sized pool fronting the Atlantic Ocean. A 12-person jacuzzi awaits. A courtyard changing room sauna is yours to enjoy. Large picnic and barbecue area surrounded by the tropical gardens.
One clay and two hard court lighted tennis courts are yours to enjoy at no additional cost. The largest beach in Key West, Smather's Beach, is adjacent to this condominium complex, offering white sand, palm trees, lounge chair and umbrella rentals, volleyball nets, sailboat rentals, and parasailing. An extensive leisure trail for walking, jogging, and bike riding fronts this beach.
Old Town, Key West's hub of shopping, dining, live entertainment, art galleries, and sightseeing, is just one-and-one-half miles away. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!! Key West has the most beautiful water of anywhere in the USA!! We are certified scuba divers, and the Florida Keys offer incredible dive opportunities within the confines of the continental United States. We also love live music - which is readily available at most hours of the day/night here in Key West.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We love the tranquil, tropical garden/pool setting of our condo complex. Smather's Beach is right at our doorstep.
Yet, Duval Street - the hub of nightlife, dining and shopping, is just 5 minutes away to be enjoyed whenever we wish.
Our condo has a full oceanfront view - such that you don't even have to leave the condo to enjoy the beauty that Key West
has to offer. Many a time, you just may find yourself getting stuck on "The Perch"!!

Our full time home is in HIlton Head, SC. We both work in the health care profession.
In addition to our 'home away from home" condo, Crown Jewel, in Key West, we also have a part-time home in Brevard, NC.
We are active - between the two of us we love scuba diving, fishing, mountain biking, snowskiing, tennis, running (well, for a 5K distance anyway!).
Both of our children are recently out of the nest - and we are taking the opportunity to enjoy the freedom to spend more and more time in our favorite spots in all of the world - right here!

We have had a wonderful time staying at the Key West Crown Jewel. The amenities and personal touches truly makes this condo a five star property. We enjoyed the pool, Smather's beach (just outside the condo), cooking in a well equipped kitchen, and the close, yet far enough away, proximity to the old town. The condo is exquisitely decorated and well equipped for any family. We are refreshed and ready to hit the ground running at work. We would recommend this condo to anyone. Thanks for the great opportunity!

Our hats are off to this beautiful home with the greatest ammenities and wow- the views are better than the photos representing them. We'll even give credit that the weather was ordered for us. A true adventure and evryone embraced our little family to make us feel right at home on the island. The food outstanding--Duval Street a carnival with a history lesson arounfd every corner. The chickens and wildlife are just an added perk to island life. The sunset sail with Danger Adventures is a must and hit the reef to snorkle--Danger will provide a intimate time for you and your family. Plan a little as you will need transportaion, you are a couple miles from groceries and most of the resturants. Sather's Beach is at your doorstep and water adventures with Sunset Watersports along with a great pool right under your balcony. Fun in the sun :). Praise the Lord!

My husband and I made our yearly trip to Key West at the beginning of June. This was the first time we had the opportunity to stay in at Key West Crown Jewel, but the condo was absolutely beautiful and certainly exceeded our expectations. Clearly this condo was well thought out and planned to not only provide home away from home comforts, but a gorgeous ocean view. The unit was clean and well taken care of and we really enjoyed our stay there. I have stayed in many other units at 1800 Atlantic over the past several years and this one tops the list. The owners are friendly and helpful and the condo was comfortable, functional and beautiful. I will certainly be returning in the future. Thank you for the great memories.

The Perfect Condo for a Girlfriend Trip

We six ladies celebrated our 10th Girlfriend Trip at this lovely condo. Very spacious, beautifully decorated and clean, it lacks for nothing and was perfect for us. The terrace is huge, and we spent much of our time sitting outside admiring the beautiful view of ocean and beach. In fact, we were torn between just hanging out at the condo or hanging out on Duval Street! The temperature of the pool was refreshing for cooling us down after a busy day in Key West. Location is excellent. Key West is great for a girlfriends' trip - we enjoyed para sailing, taking a sunset cruise, watching the sun set at Mallory Square, eating tasty seafood at the marina, learning a little history at the Truman White House, shopping, taking in some night life and touring Hemingway's home where the the six toed cats reside. There's plenty to do here, and staying at this oceanfront condo made our trip even more enjoyable. It was a pleasure doing business with Leslie and Bruce. It doesn't get any better than this! PS Scott was not on the girlfriend trip - only Jackie. He couldn't join because he's a guy!

Favorite moments/special highlights: Morning coffee on the patio; evening wine on the patio. Walks along the beach. This is our second time here at Crown Jewel. We love staying here, it is comfortable and well decorated. The view is spectacular. As last time, I don't want to leave to go back to the cold. I'm hoping by now the snow has melted at home! Thank you once again for sharing your 2nd home. We had a great 10 days! :)
