We would like to invite you to visit our stunning, brand-new Lake Home on Lac Court Oreilles. We are just now adding the finishing touches to this beautiful new home that we have just had built. We are offering it to renters for the first time April 27, 2013.
It’s the perfect North-Woods getaway with a real sandy beach. As you wade out into the lake from our back yard you will be on a firm sandy bottom and you will notice a very gradual slope out to deeper water. There is so much sand on our beach that the little ones can build sand a castle. Or play Frisbee on our large level back yard. At night have a fire in our fire pit.
The cottage is immaculate (of course – as its brand new) and tastefully decorated with a lake cottage feel. Amenities include: gourmet kitchen, three season porch, attached sun deck, fireplace, two big-screen televisions and a separate game room with table tennis table.
Rental Pontoon Boat: you can arrange to have one at the end of our dock, all gassed and ready to go the instant you arrive. So very convenient.
Many lake cabins look nice in pictures, but once you arrive you discover that their home is elevated. There may be 50 stair steps to the water! Not so with our place. Once you leave our cottage there is just a stroll down a gradual slope to the water. Not even one single stair step!
Our lake, Lac Court Oreilles, is over 5 miles long and has approximately 5,000 acres of water. It is the largest natural lake in the county. It’s well known for excellent fishing, water sports, sailing and exploring. The largest fish in our area is the Muskie. And the largest Muskie every caught anywhere (over 70 pounds) came from our lake. Actually, there is a museum in Hayward (only 12 minutes away) where you can see the largest Muskies ever caught around here, as they are mounted and on display. Every single one of these Muskie came from Lac Court Oreilles.

About the owner: I live in Minneapolis but have always liked to vacation in the Hayward WI. There are so many lakes in this area, and the towns nearby are not crowded, even in the summer.
