East End condo description
This beautiful condo (~2000 sq. ft.) on a hill has a breath-taking, unobstructed view of the Caribbean Sea. The main room is a combination living room/dining room with cable television, DVD player, boombox, air conditioner, and sliding glass doors onto a porch that over looks the Caribbean. Parking is free.
The Master bedroom is a large room with a newly renovated attached bathroom with a glass-brick shower, air conditioning, and a sliding glass door that overlooks the Caribbean. The bed is king-sized and the dresser includes a vanity. The room is custom-decorated with Caribbean colors.
Bedroom #2 has a queen-sized bed and a door to the main bathroom with tub and shower. This room is also decorated with Caribbean colors, bright and airy, and includes an air conditioner. The laundry is in part of the closet of the second bedroom.
Bedroom #3 has twin beds, a sink, and an air conditioner. All bedrooms have dressers and closets.
The kitchen is fully stocked with place settings for eight, pots, pans, glasses, bowls, and utensils such as a mixer coffee maker, and a blender. This is home-away-from-home for the owners so they are sure to provide all the necessary accessories in the kitchen. There is a dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, and refrigerator for larger appliances.
Towels, including beach towels, are supplied, as are a change of sheets for each bed. A housekeeper is optional at the renter's preferred frequency.
The porch runs along the front of the condo and overlooks the Caribbean. There is a gas barbeque on the porch for evening cookouts, along with a table and chairs for relaxing, eating, and enjoying the view.
The Cultured Pelican is a wonderful restaurant and bar that is onsite and poolside. They have a wonderful brunch and a wide variety of tropical, as well as more traditional, beverages. There is a wonderful view of Buck Island, the only underwater U.S. National Park, from the condo pool area.
There are several other wonderful restaurants within a few minutes drive as well as a casino on the eastern shore. Many restaurants and bars are seaside and allow swimming and exploring while enjoying server service from the bar and/or restaurant.

About the owner: I am a salesperson and have woirked for many years in the gourmet food industry. I am married and have 5 children and 6 grand-children and one on the way in May of 2013. I was born and raised in the Boston, MA area, as were all my children. My wife lived in Canada until moving to Boston in her early 20s. My wife and I enjoy the peace and serenity of St. Croix whenever possible, as do my children and grand-children. St. Croix is a relatively quiet island, and we like that. There are tourists but without the confusion and hustle and bustle of busier islands. The beaches are breath-taking and there is a little bit of everything to do on the island, from touring the rain forest to horse-back riding on the beach. You can even visit the eastern-most point in the United States on the island! We love to pass our time sitting on the porch overlooking the Carribean, lounging on the beach or at the pool with a fresh pina colada, or browsing through the quaint shops in Christiansted. There are also MANY wonderful restaurants of all types. St. Croix is truly a place we can shut down all our stressors and know we will come home refreshed and rejuvinated.
Why the Owner Chose East End:
Many people call St. Croix 'Paradise.' There is even a restaurant there called 'Cheeseburgers in Paradise'! We do find St. Croix to be as close to Paradise as we have ever experienced. We toured a number of Carribean islands in the late 70s and early 80s. Once we visited St. Croix, we knew we'd come 'home.'
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We chose our home because of the view from the condo. It is high enough on the hill that we can see St. John on a clear day. The view is so spectacular and peaceful; it is healing to the soul.
