These lakes cover thousands of acres, are all connected together by canals, and lead to the Saint John's River, Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. Bass fishing tournaments and numerous festivals are held throughout the year.
The shady backyard is fenced in and has a concrete walk beside the seawall on the canal. You can tie up your own boat at the boathouse dock. Lots of wildlife can be seen; blue heron, alligators, etc. as across the 100-foot-wide canal is protected natural land, affording lots of privacy and quiet. Also enjoy the white sand community beach a short walk away. Newly remodeled and completely and comfortably furnished.
A short drive to downtown, golfing, shopping malls, movie theatres, flea markets, antique dealers, next door to quaint and historic Mount Dora, a popular tourist destination with lots of little shops, restaurants, art and cultural events. Forty minutes to Disney, Universal, and Sea World via Florida's Turnpike.
