RUSH COVE is a short 10-12 minute scenic drive to the PORT of LION'S HEAD where you can provision everything from a steak for the BBQ to a fine Ontario wine for dinner.
Our cottage is designed for casual summer living both inside and out. A large deck fronts the entire cottage with vista views of Georgian Bay and the headlands beyond.
A waterside deck and Cabana allow for long lazy afternoons of sunbathing, friendly conversations or an impromptu happy hour, as well unsurpassed sky watching at night in our unique Dark Sky community.
The upgraded cottage is airy, pine-panelled and cozy with a propane fireplace for chilly mornings. Three bedrooms feature quality linens and towels - one queen with ensuite, one double and 2 twins.
A screened sunroom provides refuge on a rainy day and also has a comfortable pull-out sofa. In the main living area, guests can watch satellite TV or DVD's on the 32inch flatscreen TV or surf the net on the wireless Internet from comfy sofas and ezy chairs.
The well equipped galley kitchen includes an electric range, full size fridge and microwave. (No dishwasher) A new clothes washer is available and outside drying line. A full size BBQ with side burner complements your meal preparation plans. Two 3 piece bathrooms are conveniently located.
For those wanting to bring small watercraft with them, there is ample parking for trailers and a municipal launch ramp is one minute away. Direct access to the Bruce Trail and sidetrails are as close as the end of our driveway and a Scenic Caves experience is just a short drive. Many day trips are an easy drive
away: Bruce Penninsula National Park, FlowerPot Island, Sauble Beach & Singing Sands to name a few. The cottage is a convenient base to explore the
natural wonders of the Bruce Peninsula, or a wonderful place to unwind, read and contemplate life!
