Scenically located on the Northern California Coast, our vacation home is located 85 miles north of Eureka and 30 miles south of the Oregon border in Crescent City. Comfortably furnished and built in 2000, our spaciously designed, 1300-square-foot, two-story, vacation home includes an open floor plan with vaulted ceilings, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an observation room. Spectacular views from the observation room and the upstairs bedroom highlight the coast, mountains, and Battery Point Lighthouse.
Our convenient location is one-half block from the beach where a spiral stairway provides easy access to explore tidepools and beach comb. Historic Battery Point Lighthouse, just a few blocks away, has tours available and is accessible during low tide. Redwood National and State Parks, the Smith River National Recreation Area, and the Lake Earl Wildlife Area are all just a short drive away.
Some of the numerous awe-inspiring outdoor opportunities in this amazing corner of the world include: exploring the ancient redwood forest, strolling beautiful ocean beaches, hiking magnificent forest and majestic mountain trails, and rafting, kayaking, or swimming the pristine blue green waters of the Smith River.
