City centre modern apartment with 170 sqm is set in a recently rebuilt building in old historic Lisbon. Daylight-filled and bright, fourth floor apartment is located near the Camões Square, in a building with 1 elevator (there are 10 steps to get to the elevator).
The apartment has 3 large bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms, both with bathtub and shower. New building in the historic Lisbon centre, which was rebuilt in 2005.
Very close to several museums, operas, theaters, and churches. A 5 minute walk takes you to the Rossio, in the Baixa, and to the Elevador da Lavra. On the other direction you will reach the Praça do Comércio, where has located the centre of the Portuguese old empire near the river Tejo (Tagus).
Close to shops, restaurants, cafes, banks, cash machine, public transportation (subway and electric trams) and 24 hour taxi stands, etc.
This privileged location offers easy access by foot to the subway (Baixa/Chiado station 50 meters).
Chiado is considered the most beautiful area of historical Lisbon. It was a place of residence of the Portuguese royalty and of the political and cultural elites. Nearby are located the theatre S. Luis and the opera D. Carlos.
Camões Square (Praça de Camões) is next to Bairro Alto, picturesque but raffish; part of Lisbon's nightlife seems to be concentrated in this quarter, which was frequented to hear the sentimental 'fados' sung in certain restaurants and cafés. Chiado and Bairro Alto are 'the' meeting point for locals and tourists, with elegant hotels, old cafés, and the best international fashion shops nearby.

On arriving at our apartment we were met by Sylvia who was absolutely brilliant. So friendly and knowledgeable. In entering our apartment we were blown away - what a find. It had three very large bedrooms - two with queen beds and the other twin beds. Two fantastically appointed marble bathrooms and a great kitchen and living area. The apartment is situated in the heart of "happening" Lisbon and a short walk to most things - including trains, the red bus on off tour etc. The apartment comes fully equipped with washer and dryer, ironing facilities and a stove top oven and breakfast making equipment. We loved our stay and would fully recommend this to any traveller. My view also is that for the standard of service and the quality of the accommodation this was also very reasonably priced. If we return to lisbon in the future we would not stay anywhere but these apartments. Thank you paulo for an incredible welcome to your beautiful Portugal.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This is our second visit to Lisbon using Chiado apartments. The apartment was excellent, very modern with all amenities and in a central location. We thorougly enjoyed our stay in this lovely apartment and City. Silvia was very helpful.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay and Sylvia was really helpful. We would recommend the seafood place nearby, sea something just off the piazza in the street going up the hill. We went there for dinner two or three nights. The apartment was very comfortable any problems were dealt with very efficiently. Not that we had anything major. The washing machine needed to be a bit more stable as it moved around a lot when on the spin cycle. We loved Lisbon and look forward to returning some day.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
