If you are looking for that Old Florida feel, Bungalow Basket is located on Maple Ave which dead ends to the white sand beaches and the perfectly clear waters of Anna Maria Island. You are just a 2 minute walk to relaxation and sunshine! The total remodel of this home was just completed in February of 2013 by the owner who is a professional decorator and is beyond words! The detail in this home as well as the décor’ and furnishings by the Pink Pineapple give it a beachy feel that is both warm and comfortable.
The Master Suite displays a King bed and seating area leading to the beautiful pool. The second bedroom boasts a Queen Bed with French Doors to the Pool area as well. The third bedroom has two twins and the den has a Queen pull-out sofa to allow plenty of room for the whole family!

I brought my three daughters to enjoy a week of sun and relaxation. The week was awesome-sunshine, great food at the restaurants, and lots of laughter. We would do this again. We were looking for a week of relaxation and fun and the house delivered both. Thank you for sharing your home. The kitchen made for such a great place to cook and eat breakfast and enjoy our morning coffee and tea. Too many wonderful memories were made to write down. Our favorite this trip was heading down to the beach about an hour and a half before sunset and building sandcastles, running from waves and flying a kite leading to an always beautiful sunset. We stayed here for two weeks and had a wonderful time. The home has recently been remodeled and they did a wonderful job creating a beach house feel. The pictures and description are accurate and exceeded our expectations. The kitchen has very nice appliances, including a gas stove, and was great for cooking. We used the patio area and pool every day and the backyard is fully fenced which was great for our 2 small dogs. The location is fantastic. It's located a half block to the beach on a quiet dead-end street. There is a little-used path that runs parallel to the beach, along the city park, which allows you to walk to all the shops and restaurants on Pine Avenue without having to walk along Gulf Drive. The only thing I wish the property had were screens on the sliding glass doors and some windows to allow airflow through the house - a minor thing. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay on Anna Maria.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Erik and family, Thanks for the tip about the path along the beach. It really is a good point that I will mention to guests in the future! Unfortunately, when the house was finished in February it started booking immediately and we did not get a chance to finish a couple of the things. I will certainly look into the screens and just an FYI, the landscaping around the pool area is being finished on Saturday so new photos should be up by the end of next week (5-18). Thanks for staying with us and hope to have you visit again!
