Welcome to Bon Ton Roulet ('Good Times Roll!') Beach House. Built in 2004, this is a clean, beautiful, second row, 3BR 2 BA beach house located right next to the dunes with a spectacular view of the Gulf of Mexico. You will have the best second row view of the beaches in Surfside. Very romantic for your special weekend! Just walk across the dune bridge and you are on the beach! Fully equipped kitchen, all linens and towels provided, 3 TVs, DVD player and satellite TV is LR, MBR and 3rd BR.

Description: Living room with beautiful beach view & large couch (double bed) + single sleeper couch; fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, stove/lg oven, microwave (dishes; pots, pans, wine glasses, coffee maker, can opener); full-size washer and dryer; large master bedroom with King-size bed; crib for infant or toddler (with linens and blanket); 2 other BRs w/ antique double beds; 2 full bath; fully covered deck across the front of the house with great beach view; satellite TVs located in the living room, master bedroom and back BR; DVD player in Living Room. Grill under house. No phone - bring your cell phone.
Surfside Beach is a small, quaint, beach town where alarm clocks and deadlines are replaced with the sound of the waves and spectacular sunsets. While staying at Bon Ton Roulet, you can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, surfing, bird watching, snorkeling, fishing (surf, jetty, and deep sea), crabbing, shelling, camping, evening beach camp fires, and enjoying the spectacular night sky. Fresh seafood abounds.
Visit Sea Center, Texas, 300 Medical Drive in Lake Jackson (four miles from Surfside). A $13,000,000, state-of-the-art, fish hatchery and visitor center. A variety of local restaurants and gifts shops can be found on the island.
Red Snapper Inn is just a bike ride away with great fresh seafood and a nice, small town atmosphere. Prices are great as is the food! Take a leisurely drive to historic Galveston (about 38 miles) and shop at the Strand, visit Moody Gardens. Brazos Mall and Lake Jackson Mall provides two-point-four-million square feet of retail shopping (seven miles).
Three bedrooms, two baths, sleeps eight plus one crib for an infant. One King bed (Master BR), two double beds (2nd and 3rd BRs), one single sofa sleeper (Living Room), one single futon, double-size bed / couch (Living Room), and a crib.
We rent to families and business groups. We do NOT rent to minors or parties, and we do not allow pets.
Rental Prices below are inclusive of a 10% rental Texas hotel tax and linens/towels. There is a $300.00 security deposit which will be refunded in full IF..... no damage or loss is incurred, no excessive cleaning is required and house and linens/towels are left clean and dried. THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL OR HIDDEN CHARGES!
WE NO LONGER ACCEPT MONEY ORDERS/CASHIERS CHECKS/PERSONAL CHECKS DUE TO HIGH NUMBER OF COUNTERFEITS.
Payment can be made by: Paypal (credit cards, echecks)(no personal checks).
Refundable Security Deposit: Security deposit is refundable IF..... no damage is done to the house, excessive cleaning is not required and linens/towels are left clean and dried. Please Mail $300 personal check to below address. If you are entitled to a full refund - YOUR CHECK WILL BE DESTROYED. If you are not entitled to a full refund, you will be notified as to why and how much will be deducted.

When we arrived this house was spotlessly clean, and we were all pleasantly surprised by the gorgeous view and easy beach access. The beds were all comfortable, the air conditioner kept the house very cool, and we had a great time. We will definitely book another trip to this home!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This is the third time we have rented this property and have always been pleased. It has always been clean and the location is great!!!! It has become a family tradition and hope to continue it every year! A blender would be nice I agree but that is all I can think of that is not there!! Ha! I just love this place.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

From the start of booking this property I was completely satisfied!! We had a great stay, great view, and great time. I really liked the fact that linens were provided, and yes, they were clean. The house was very clean when we got there. King size bed in master was perfect, and the "couch" in the living room was great for extra sleeping arrangments. Only thing this house needs is a blender in the kitchen. I would definetely stay there again. Oh Yeah, towels were provided also, that is a big plus. No hidden cost, price was great. Thank you for a great vacation home away from home!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We didn;t go to Surfside last year but had stayed in this home for two years prior and it was a great experience. I would not recommend staying at this location. The house was in a great spot and close to the beach, but when we arrived the house had clearly not been cleaned in a long time. Before we could put our groceries away, we had to throw away 1/2 empty milk gallon, eggs, and all sorts of other food in the fridge and totally clean out the inside. There were ants in the master bedroom and we found out after finding a trail of them coming from underneath the dresser that there were fruit loops among a lot of other trash on the wood floor. We had to bring a few pitchers full of water from the sink in the kitchen to fill the toilet bowl in the main bathroom before anyone could use it (and this was after a 5 1/2 hour drive.) We had no hot water when we arrived and we were asked by the owners when we called to report it to make arrangements to meet the plumber (we were on our way in town at that point to buy groceries when the plumber finally arrived.) The french doors in the livingroom looking out onto what would be a beautiful view was hardly noticiable because they had so much oil/grease/dirt on them that it took us 5 windex washes before we could even see out of them. The hot water was supposedly fixed a few hours after we arrived, but was gone again the next morning therefore we had to wait around for the plumber again the next day. Needless to say this was not a vacation for our family. We tried to contact the owner when we returned home to ask for a partial refund but we got no response from our email or phone messages. I recently contacted them again to give them one more chance before I left my comment and I was told that they would not refund any of our money. I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake we did. We spent way too much money on renting this house and I don't want anyone else to make the same mistake.Owner response: VRBO does not verify the accuracy of comments posted by renters. This particular renter stayed the entire rental period and then contacted us and demanded a full refund even though a plummer was dispatched and arrived to the house within 1 hour. When we did not refund this customer the entire rental fee as she demanded, she posted this negative review (as she had threatened). Most folks would call this "blackmail". Thank goodness all renters are not like this!
