'Luxury Living' right on the beach in Maalaea. You are 30 ft to the water and can watch the whales from your private lanai. Centrally located just 10-12 minutes from the airport. Equipped with all linens (designer), even beach towels. All kitchenware to prepare your favorite island meals.
Snorkel, boogie board or "hang ten" right in front. There is an uncrowded, pristine 4 plus mile long beach fronting the property (great for early morning strolls).
Condo offers 2 separate Master Suites. Oceanfront Master Suite with Jacuzzi tub, waterfall shower head and separate water feature (waterfall). Additional shower located in Master Bath. Vanity with glass bowl sink. Jacuzzi is surrounded by tumbled marble. Oceanfront master has a King bed.
Guest Master Suite has full-sized custom shower, glass bowl sink and antique chinese vanity in the bathroom. Guest suite has 2 twin beds that can be converted to a King if desired.

The condo is located on the ground floor. Parking is right outside your door. Easy for carrying luggage, groceries, sleeping children, etc.
Start your day watching the sunrise over 10,000 ft (dormant) Haleakala Volcano. Take a stroll down the 4+ mile long (undeveloped) beach, perhaps hunting for puka shells along the way (use these to make your own jewelry as treasured gifts for friends back home). Whales & turtles are frequent visitors and can be seen right from the condo. An occasional dolphin or monk seal will show up too. Deep sea fishing, snorkel excursions depart from Maalaea Harbor, 3 golf courses within 5 miles of the condo. Miniature golf, bumper boats and rock climbing park within walking distance, nature trails, parasailing, rollerblading, shopping, surfing, tennis, biking, boating, dinner cruises, whale watching excursions all close by.
A must is to pack a picnic lunch and take the drive to the Hana side of the island. Waterfalls, rainforest and lush tropical beauty can be found on this drive. It takes all day... so you should plan to leave early (7-8am). Relax in the evening and watch the moon and the stars light up Maalaea Bay. Ahhhh... don't you wish you were here already?

We stayed here for 2 weeks just after new years and were in paradise. The condo is exactly as shown in the photos and extremely comfortable. We have stayed at Kanai a Nalu 2 other times and this condo by far is the best! We especially loved that the little things like salt and a little oil, some dish soap, etc were there already, so handy! We ate all our meals out on the lanai, during the last week we saw many whales in the distance right from the lanai. The location in Maalea is perfect for us, true beach front (can't imagine you can get much closer then this), a short drive to Lahaina, Kahului (costco, walmart, the swap meet) are just a 15 minute drive away, the Ocean center is right there (Can take an easy stroll down), also can stroll down or take a 5 minute drive to the harbour to go out on whale watches/snorkelling trip (really nice when check in is pre 7 am), we also spent lots of time on the beaches in Wailea/Makena (another easy 25 minute drive). So handy to everything! Kelly is really easy to deal with and always available to help out if you have any questions both via phone and email. Thanks Kelly! It was an excellent stay for us, we will be back!

We 4 Michiganders here for 5 days - enjoyed the sun, the surf, open windows in the winter... at night, getting to know our neighbors at the grill and pool, running the beach, Brazilian cardinals, sandpipers, watching crabs fast and slow, the SUN (did we say that already?) visiting the aquarium, snorkeling a wee bit, and exploring the island via convertible and bicycle. Very lovely accommodations Cheers to all

What a charming place here in paradise. Take a peek into some of the other condos at Kanai a Nalu and you'll realize how fortunate you are to be staying in 118. The little stretch of sand to the right is a fun place to play in the surf, tho you will find a wide expanse of beach by walking to the left. A starlit stroll this direction is particularly nice as you get away from the lights. The milky way is a shimmering spectacle in the Hawaiian night sky, so don't miss that. Ray Sacramento, CA

Kelly - Thanks for the wonderful visit and allowing my brother to use your lovely condo. We enjoyed very much, everything that Kanai A Nalu had to offer, as well a many things that Maui offers.
