Absolutely best value on Maui
Upscale international shops. Every Wednesday evening, they have free Hawaiian musical performances - some of the best shows on Maui!
If you like walking along the ocean in front of the best hotels (Four Seasons, Grand, etc.) park here at 6:30 am and walk to the end (about 3 miles down and back). You are right on the ocean and you can watch for whales. Very nice, especially in the cool of the morning before the sun comes up over Haleakala. Also the Ulua beach is a favorite for snorkeling and scuba.
