This is our second year staying in this particular condo and it is wonderful!! The view is a guarantee and amazing!! Steve is a wonderful host and very friendly. The condo has a great view and everything you need for your stay. The property is also well maintained and a great location. It is minutes away from Whaler's Village, Lahaina, Kapalua, etc. We spend time on Maui every year and have stayed in many locations. We enjoy this condo for a great view, perfect location and lots of fun!! Mahalo Steve!

My two daughters and my sister recently stayed at Steve's condo on Maui and we had the time and stay of our lives. Each morning we woke up to that spectacular view from the windows that ran completely across the bedroom. The condo was spacious and had everything that you could possibly need. He had books, music, boogie boards, even water shoes in every size you would need. Steve was so easy to work with and he had everything ready for us when we got there. They delivered paper supplies on the first morning and the bathroom was stocked as well. The penthouse view was fabulous from the balcony was worth the trip and we were out there at sunrise each morning and sunset if we weren't in the pools or hottub. The facility had a briefing on our first morning to let us know what was available and how to navigate around Maui. If we are ever fortunate to make the trip to Maui again I would certainly try to reserve this condo. Steve will certainly treat you right on your stay there.

The other reviews were correct! The pictures didnt do it justice! The condo is HUGE! Wonderful view too. We walked to the grocery store that was across the street (better prices than safeway too) and purchased breakfast to make in our fully equipped kitchen! Had our breakfast on the balcony almost every morning. The only thing the kitchen was missing was some pepper!! haha So we bought some and left it there!! All the beach items; chairs, mats, boogie boards and ice chests made our day trips so much easier. Made it feel like a real home! The snorkeling right out front was also really good-lots of coral, sea urchins and fish! Quick drive down to Black Rock were the sea turtles which a guy would be feeding from time to time around 3 ish-but dont touch the turtles even if the guy feding them does! Steve even called and checked in on us the day we arrived to make sure everything was satisfactory! Another couple that arrived 2 days after us were quite jealous of our condo compared to their efficiency! Very comfortable! Location of the condo was great-quieter beach but a 2 minute drive to whalers village and you got the shopping, restaurants and busier beach in front of the Sheraton/HIlton/Hyatt. Then a 5-8 minute drive to Lahaina for a strip of shops, restaurants, bars, art exhibits and the beautiful banyan tree-a must see. It's also where a lot of the boat trips leave from and or surfing lessons. Cheeseburger in Paradise-ate there twice! Found a secret snorkel spot (Honolu'a Bay) really close too!! take north hwy 30, about 1/2 a mile past marker 32 you will see a metal gate down in a wash. Park there, walk around the gate through the trees. Black rock beach with roosters and cats (it is somebodies property but he alllows use for travelers-dont forget to leave a tip in the tip box) Thats where I saw my first turtles and other AMAZING fish, octopus and coral. There is another secret snorkel spot I believe around mile marker 30-you will be able to see this one-more room for cars to park with stairs that take you down to a nice cove of almost white sand beach. I could go on and on! Nothing disapointed my husband and I while we stayed at Steve's condo so obviously I recommend it to couples, singles and families! Thanks Steve!

My husband and I have stayed in this unit many times and always make a call to Steve to make certain that the unit is available at the times we may want to rent it! Steve is friendly and informative and makes a phone call while we are in the unit to make certain that the accommodations are fine with us. We enjoy the ocean breezes in the living area and the bedroom which makes it possible for us not to use the air conditioning and still be cool and comfortable. The sound of the ocean waves at night make for a relaxing sleep! Relatives that visit our room are envious of us for the ocean view and whale watching sights from our room. In February, we were sitting on the lanai and saw a double breach of two whates-how exciting! The propery is close to some shops and a grocery store and fresh fruit markets. We like the availabilty of fresh fruit while in Maui. Near the tennis courts, there grills and picnic tables which we use many times--especially when others join us for meals together.. You can walk all the way to the restaurants and shops at Whaler's Village from our condo-good exercise! I would encourage others to check out Stev'e's condo for a great value and view!

This one bedroom/one bath condo was great for me and my husband. It is on the penthouse floor and has a great ocean view. We have stayed in this complex a few times in the past, but we really enjoyed the location of this condo. You can hear the waves crashing and it is very private. The entire rental process went very smooth and Steve was great when I requested information. The condo has all the kitchen and bathroom supplies you need, in addition to a washer and dryer. The owner has a closet with coolers, boogie boards and beach chairs that are available to the renters. Excellent benefit!! If you like to read or do puzzles, there are also plenty of those to choose from when you need a few hours out of the sun. If you are not familiar with the area, this complex is in a great location just minutes away from Whaler's Village or dowtown Lahaina. It is close to golf courses and some great snorkeling areas right off shore. We had a great trip and hope to stay here again next time! Mahalo!!

This one bedroom, one bath condo is located on the penthouse level (9th floor). This unit was used during a one week vacation for myself, my wife, my 11 year old son and a friend of my wife. The rental process went very smoothly and Steve was very nice and informative. I even received telephone calls throughout the process which was very comforting. The condo sleeps four comfortably and includes a queen bed in the bedroom as well as a sofa bed in the living room. The grounds and the condo were very nicely kept and clean. The resort layout and landscaping were great and include are grass areas, a hot tub, and two pools pool. There are a couple of shops on site as well which sell clothing, gifts, necessities, etc. The resort staff we dealt with were very accommodating. The view from the lanai was good, although it is not a unit that directly faces the beach. It is on the side of the building, but the ocean view is still nice and we could hear the surf crashing on the beach from anywhere in the condo. This was a very nice touch. Included with the condo were a complete kitchen (including microwave and dish washer), everything needed to cook and serve meals, washer/dryer, linens, towels, a flat screen television, a small stereo with music CD's and some books. Additionally, there were several boogie boards, a couple of ice chests, and a few straw beach mats. The location of Kaanapali Shores is good. There is a grocery store right across the street, as well as a snorkel equipment rental store. They are both easily within walking distance. The beach in front of the resort was nice but there were more rocks than I would have liked. We were still able to swim and take walks along the beach. Both pools were nice, and the larger pool area had a bar inside the fenced off pool area and many chairs and chaise lounges for sunbathing. There is a fitness center available for an additional charge (paid to the resort). The other additional charge is a $9/day parking fee (also to the resort). Overall we had a great experience and feel very confident we got a good deal. We would definitely return.

This condo was ideal for my husband and I and our 6 month old daughter. The kitchen was fully loaded and the ocean view was outstanding. The condo owner Steve was very helpful to us and I felt that our money was well spent here. Steve sent us more photos and they did accurately reflect his condo. The location of Kaanapali Shores is great- right on the beach and right near a shopping center- this eliminates the need to head to Lahaina for any groceries. The stretch of ocean right in front of the resort is beautiful- bring your snorkel gear. We took a scuba lesson in the pool and took a 45 min scuba trip right in front of the property with Mike- I would recommed a lesson with Mike. This resort is a 5 min walk to Dukes Beach house (in Honua Kai Resort), great food, service and atmosphere- I greatly enjoyed our dining experience. There is a 3 mile long beach boarwalk that begins at Honua Kai Resort- we walked along the boardwalk to Whalers Village and it was awesome. Once at Whalers we had a mimosas and jumped into the ocean and the walked back. There is alot to see and do on the island. Happy Travels!
