Since we stay here ourselves once or twice a year, we wanted to ensure that same comfort on vacation that we have in our own home. With that in mind, our unit is beautifully appointed and tastefully furnished. In keeping the aesthetics with the flair of the island theme, Art lovers may recognize some of the prints on our walls by French-born artist, Guy Buffet, who migrated to the Islands at the age of 20 and focused a large body of his life's work in whimsically capturing Polynesian folklore on canvas.
Completely updated and remodeled, the unit features custom granite counter-tops both in the kitchen and vanity areas and all new kitchen cabinets.
The Living Area includes a flatscreen HDTV/DVD/Blu-ray player, free WiFi internet, a vari-speed ceiling fan and a queen size sleeper sofa which can accommodate up to an additional two guests.
The Bedroom boasts a California King-sized bed and features a vari-speed ceiling fan, new plantation styled-shutters and a flat screen TV/DVD/Blu-ray player.
The tiled Vanity/bathroom area includes a wall-unit hairdryer, plenty of custom granite counter-top space and a tiled shower stall with a European-styled optional shower head. There is also a secure safe in the large closet for your valuables.
The vari-speed ceiling fans, the screen panels on the glass sliding patio doors and the plantation shuttered bedroom window at the back, all keep the unit cool and always comfortable from the flow of the island's gentle trade winds.

Daily housekeeping is included in the weekly rate. Housekeepers make the beds, take out the garbage and provide clean towels daily.
Napili's location is really ideal for a complete immersion in tranquility and is definitely the place to get away from the 'noise.' Napili has the charm of 'Old Hawaii', not having been built up with high-rise hotels like other areas of the island, yet is still close enough to take advantage of all the activities Maui has to offer.
Here at Napili, enjoy some of Maui’s best snorkeling and swimming in Honokeana Bay(Turtle Cove), right at the water's edge just below your lanai. Multi-colored coral and countless tropical fish and sea turtles or 'Honu' await you in the bay– literally just steps outside your door.
Next door to the north is the sandy crescent beach of Napili Bay, voted one of Maui's Best Beaches, a short stroll along an ocean front path. Napili Bay beach is another favorite place to snorkel, swim, boogie-board and paddleboard. Another 5 minute walk beyond Napili Bay is Kapalua Bay, also rated one of the best beaches in the world, and another ideal location for snorkeling and swimming.
At the tip of the “point”, you can watch world class surfing in the winter months when the waves can get quite high. Sit on the lawn and enjoy the show! World-class surfing can also be had at famed Honolua Bay (just a short drive north), also a spectacular snorkeling location known for the appearance of pods of spinner dolphins.
If you enjoy Tennis and/or Golf, you can find both a mile up the road north at the Kapalua Resort, boasting a world class PGA course. Golf can also be found a short drive south at Kaanapali.
Historic Lahaina, West Maui's central hub and harbor, is a short 15 minute drive south where you will find plenty of wonderfully diverse dining, shopping at the many artisan stalls displaying beautifully local-crafted items, art galleries, and sweetshops. At night, Front Street in Lahaina is the place to be for oceanfront dining, a sunset walk along the water or a gelato under the famed Banyan Tree in Lahaina's historic square.
If it's adventure you're looking for, a multitude of fun half and full-day trips can be conveniently booked right on-site at the Activity Desk Concierge office. These include bicycling down Haleakala, Maui's active volcano, swimming with dolphins at the nearby island of Lanai, zip-lining, para-sailing, snorkeling adventures at Molokini, visiting secluded Hana and many more.

FAMILY PLAN: Children under 18, stay at no additional charge if they utilize existing bedding in the room within their parents. Add $15 for a rollaway and $12 for a crib (minimum charge $32).

Additionally, a local transit bus stops right in front of the resort and takes you south into Lahaina, as well as the Whaler's Village, a charming outdoor shopping mall in Kaanapali.

About: Lou and Karen grew up and met in San Francisco, Ca. Lou proposed a month later. They just recently celebrated 50 years of paradise together in marriage in June of 2012. They have five children, including a daughter who got married here on Maui, and nine grandchildren. Since their purchase of B-34 in 1988, they always look forward at least once a year, to escaping the wet climate of the Pacific Northwest, where they reside, for the sunny shores and tranquil beauty that is Napili.
It was February, 1969, when my wife, Karen and I visited the Islands for the very first time. When I say our visit was by chance, I mean that literally, as our trip was won in a raffle. As 'newbies' to the Islands, we did the obligatory first-time 4-island 'hop' and, it will come as no surprise to those of you that have been to Maui before, that Maui was 'THE' island as far as we were concerned. Several years later, we started visiting Maui on a fairly regular basis. At a certain point, we began considering a purchase of a condo but each year, we got cold feet and vowed to purchase when prices came down. Well, that never happened and we finally bit the bullet and bought our Napili Point B-34 unit in February, 1988. Over all those years of perusing a prospective purchase, we checked many condos out from Lahaina to Kaanapali to Kahana to Napili and Kapalua. No matter where we stayed each time we visited, we always gravitated toward our favorite beach----'Napili Bay.' We have NEVER regretted our purchase at Napili Point. Both Karen and I are somewhat OCD in nature. That means that Karen, who has a keen eye for design and fashion and is a fastidious homemaker, treats our Maui condo the same as our home in Kirkland, Washington. Since we spend a solid month here each year, we want it to feel as nice and as comfortable as our primary home and Karen takes great pride in choosing, maintaining an updating all the tasteful appointments. You might notice from the photos of our unit, the distinctive island themed framed art enhancing the unit, adding an authentic touch. A few of these prints are by French-born Artist, Guy Buffet who at 20 years old, discovered the Paradise that is the Hawaiian Islands. His distinctive style whimsically celebrates Hawaiian folklore and the Polynesian world. The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
What we love about Napili Point and Napili in general, is that it is close enough (about 20 minutes by car) to Lahaina which is the main activity hub in West Maui (plenty of restaurants, shows, shops, galleries and various boat excursions leaving from the harbor) BUT, far enough away to truly feel that you are away from the hustle and bustle of the day, away from the high-rise towering Super Hotel chains. The feeling is definitely more laid-back and has an 'Old Hawaii' charm. A local market/strip mall, yoga salon, 2 different snorkel/water gear rental shops, Napili Bay, Kapalua Bay, Honokeana Cove(best snokeling on the Island), The Gazebo restaurant, Cafe O'Lei restaurant and The Seahouse restaurant are all within walking distance from the Napili Point Resort. There is also an Activity Center office for booking excursions on site at our resort.
