Thank you for visting the site of 441 CAPTAINS WALK... a premier oceanfront located on the third floor of the closest beachwalk property found on HILTON HEAD ISLAND. Please check our photos and comments to discover what makes this a "preferred property".

Updating is one of the qualities return guests anticipate. It distinguishes this villa as being among the "BEST-KEPT" IN THE CAPTAINS WALK COMPLEX. 2009 UPDATES INCLUDE GRANITE COUNTER TOPS AND STAINLESS SAMSUNG APPLIANCES! Additional accents on the wall and in the Nautical Room furniture have occured as well. Last year's updates included new paint and decor in the den area, mold & mildew resistant bath coatings, "Pottery Barn" rugs, and HD FLAT SCREENS WITH DVD PLAYERS in all rooms.

Regarding CAPTAINS WALK COMPLEX, it is best known for its "CLOSE BEACH PROXIMITY" and "LOW DENSITY POPULATION". The "Captains Walk Complex" has three parallel oceanfront buildings with no setbacks. ALL VILLAS ARE OCEANFRONTS!!! Lots of lush palmetto trees shade the parking lot. A security officer is present during the summer season to insure adequate parking and insurance of guest privileges.

441 CAPTAINS WALK is an end unit on the third floor, in the middle building. Catch the elevator down, take a short turn, and walk less than fifty steps to the beach gate!!!

The Hyatt and Hilton Resorts are neighbors. Walk less than five minutes to grab a morning paper or a delicious breakfast buffet, if you so choose.

The unit has over 1760 square feet of space, with long views from the balcony or master bedroom. It is WONDERULLY SPACIOUS and ON THE BEACH. It is "AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN GET" to the ocean in Hilton Head. Sleep to the "SOUNDS OF THE OCEAN"!!!

Special features inside include large ceramic tile flooring, sea-critter-knobbed KITCHEN cabinetry, Eddie Bauer dining set, deluxe bedding, large 48 flatscreen TV, VHS, DVD and CD stereo systems. Each room has its own bath and ceiling fan.

For those worried about age and care of the unit, fabrics are rotated and replaced every five years to keep a "SENSE OF FRESHNESS". (500 CT sheets in the BMR and new extra long and thick towel sets exist in all the bedrooms- 09)

Two green striped "down-filled" couches and cherry red nautical club chairs create a circular feel for the family as they come in to curl up for family time in the den.

Mattress bedding is high quality. Favorite bed covering are from Ralph Lauren. Check site pics for recent choices in each room. Attention is given to CLEANLINESS.... paint every year where needed, carpets & tile cleaned regurlarly.

Bed arrangements consist of KING in the Master Bedroom, a QUEEN and TWIN in the center Nautical Bedroom, and TWO TWINS in the bacl Palmetto Room. EACH BEDROOM HAS A PRIVATE BATH.

The kitchen has Pottery Barn White dishes and stainless steel cookware. Simple but matching glassware. Entertaining & beachy plastic dishware located in kitchen cabinets for quick sandwiches.

The PATIO provides excellent accomodations to enjoy the ocean view. A BAR-LEVEL Captains'Table allows unobstructed views while having the morning coffee or late drinks. Two additional adjustable lounge chairs and side table make the balcony a great place to enjoy the sun or catch evening views of beach walkers.

Beach chairs and chidlren's beach toys start the season, though these add and decrease as beach supplies are forgotten and/or added by individual guests.

There is a one hour free TENNIS PASS/day for guests of the unit.

The condo, with it's ocean view, are what you dream about. It's beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need plus the location is perfect, right in the heart of the island. The owners, Sherry and Terry Hill, are extremely nice and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you Sherry and Terry for making our vacation each year so special!

  • March 21, 2009 They say a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case, the pictures do not do justice to this beautiful condo. We just spent a wonderful month in 441 Captain's Walk. Sherry and Terry's hands on approach to everything in this conod is very evident. It is beautifully decorated and well appointed with quality furnishings. It is superbly maintained and spotless. You could not ask for a nicer place to stay. We felt like we were in our own home. Thank you so much for allowing us to "live" in your home. P.S. Our grandchildren loved all the beach toys you had provided.

  • We spent 3 weeks in August and this period was a real delight for all of us: impeccable service and accommodation, ideal location by (and view on) a wonderful beach where bathing and cycling are marvelous and most of all very attentive and trustworthy landlords. For the 5 of us, the trip from Europe (France actually) was a first with our kids aged 6/4/2 and we really appreciated the time Sherry Hill spent with us e-mailing details and facilitating our stay. A place to remember!

  • This was our fourth consecutive stay at this beautiful condo. We have always found it to be exceptionally clean, comfortable,and very well maintained. This year was no exception, but in addition, extensive remodeling has been done with many new additions such as flat screen TV's and a stainless steel refrigerator. New paint colors and new carpets enhance what was already a beautiful property. These owners obviously take great pride in ownership to the benefit of their guests. We have been vacationing in Hilton Head for more than 35 years and this is the nicest place we have found, so we will definately be back again next year.

  • Once again we had a fabulous time staying at your condo! The weather was great-any rain was late after we were through with our fun on the beach and at the pool. We love the new large screen televisions in the living and master areas. We saw a few other new touches-your attention to updating is refreshing in the condo rental market. That's one reason we continue to return every year! Thank you for the personal call to see how everything was-never got that from anyone else! The grandchildren had such a wonderful time. They enjoyed having a TV in their own bedroom to watch those things they love. The new stainless steel fridge in the kitchen is gorgeous along with the new stainless steel small appliances and attractive storage baskets- what a great idea! I look forward to seeing something new every year! We will be booking soon for next year from our favorite and only condo owner at Hilton Head.
