Our family has just returned from a wonderful stay at this beautiful oceanfront villa for our fifth year in a row. The villa is always immaculate and every comfort is provided. The view of the beach and the ocean is spectacular. The Palmetto Dunes location is convenient to every point on the island. Each year that we arrive for our vacation, it seems as if a new convenience has been added. This year, we discovered new gourmet charcoal grills available for our use by the lovely swimming pool. You won't find a nicer unit to rent at Captain's Walk. We are counting the days until our vacation at this fabulous villa next year.

I'd highly recommend this property! The condo was absolutely immaculate, very well decorated, comfortable and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The location was excellent as well. I would love to go back again some day.

Spectacular Villa!

This was our fourth year spending four weeks in Sherry and Terry's villa. Their villas are exceptional in all ways and they continue to amaze us with constant upgrades. The view is incredible, the villa is extremely well maintained, the furnishings are top of line and the owners are wonderful. Sherry is the most fantastic person to work with. She will answer all your questions immediately and stays on top of everything. Do not hesitate to rent this villa. You will not be disappointed.

Just to remind everyone that this unit is one of the best units at Captain's walk. The unit is in excellent shape. Everything described above is true. Unit has a great view of the ocean, overlooks the pool, is in excellent shape, etc, etc. The complex is very close to the ocean, the Marriott, and the golf courses at Palmetto dunes. The owner is wonderful to work with and the property management firm is easy to get to when you arrive. This was our tenth return to the island by the way and we love this unit the best.

Anyone renting this villa will not be disappointed. The villa is spacious and comfortably furnished. The bed in the master suite is very comfortable. The villa is very well maintained and extremely clean. The kitchen is better equipped than most condos we have rented. The view of the ocean from the balcony - priceless. Sherry and Terry Hill are wonderful to work with. They are very commited to customer satisfaction. We had a great time.

Have stayed on Hilton Head many years and this was our first stay at this condo. We were very pleased with the quality and cleanliness of the condo. It definitely lived up to the photos. The furniture was very comfortable and we also found the kitchen very well stocked. The view of the ocean from the porch was outstanding and we also loved setting by the beautiful pool. The close proximity of the beach makes this location a winner. Sherry was a pleasure to work with and answered any questions we might have had. We definitely would like to come back again next fall.

My entire family (wife; daughter, son-in-law, grand son; son and girlfriend) just spent a long week-end in this condo. The pictures on this web-site are very descriptive of the unit. It is exquisitively furnished and will make your stay there a delight. Easy beach and pool access make it very strategically located and the ocean view is wonderful. Hilton Head Island has always been one of my favorite vacation locations since visiting there over 30 years ago and it remains after our last visit. Relax and enjoy the island from this condo unit.

We have been staying in this condo during our annual visit to Hilton Head for many years and we are never disappointed. Everything is maintained in pristine condition and, as one guest said, it is so clean you could eat off the floor. There is obvious "owner pride" and it is recognozed from the minute you walk in the door. What you see on the web site, is what you get, but enhanced by the hospitality of the owners.

After vacationing in Hilton Head for over 17 years, we finally found a place that is beautifully decorated and so clean you could eat off the floor! How refreashing it was to open the door to this beautiful condo, walk in, and realize that everything about it was first class. The owner's thought of everything, from the comfortable beds wih high thread count sheets, to flat screen TV's, and bar height table and chairs, so you can see the ocean, with an unobstructive view! Sherry was a pleasure to work with, answering any and all questions in a timely fashion. We all had a great week and can't wait unti next year!

"Fantastic" says it all

We completely enjoyed our stay at this property. The amount of space in the unit was bigger than anticipated with plenty of room to very comfortably accomodate our family of 5 plus grandma. The unit is very well appointed with all the little "extras" that you might expect based upon the owner's description of the property, pictures and the prior reviews. The captains chairs on the balcony enable you to see over the railing for an unobstructed view, the quality of the furnishings, appliances, linens, dishware, etc. all add to the "class" of this property. The unit is tastefully decorated with a comfortable feeling that immediately allows you to settle in and enjoy your stay. Aside from beach towels and your clubs (for the golfers out there), about the only remaining items needed are your bathing suit and toothbrush!! The owners were extremely responsive to all questions and needs throughout the process and the management company took care of a simple maintenance issue very promptly (even on a Sunday). We would highly recommend this unit to anyone and will certainly have it on the top of our list for a future return to HH.

We loved your beautiful condo at Captains Walk. We were so comfortable there........and we had everything we needed for a relaxing fun vacation. The chairs on the balcony were so great to have an unobstructed view of the ocean. And I especially loved the decor in the master bedroom.......the colors were so pretty. Wonderful Spring Break

This unit was not only as advertised, but it exceeded the description in every way. Every detail of the unit is well thought out. We were all impressed by the number of amenities included in the unit. The only thing we had to provide was the food and a few spices. From a location standpoint, the golf courses are just a few minutes from the front entrance of Captains Walk. The local grocery store and restaurants are just outside of the entrance of Palmetto Dunes. This was our tenth visit to the Island and this stay was easily one of our favorites mainly due to the great condo and warm weather. Finally, Sherry was easy to deal with and answered all of questions in advance. A footnote to golfers: The Fazio course in Palmetto Dunes was outstanding. Island West was in great shape for April and the layout is fun and challenging. Eagle Pointe is also a very good course. Shipyard was playable and had quite a few alligators floating around.

This unit is exactly as described. Excellent conditon, very nicely furnished, great view and location on the beach. It was clean with no hint of mildew, etc (something we have run into with other beach rentals). We have stayed at Hilton Head over a half dozen times, this unit is definitely the nicest we have rented. We will definitely rent this unit again. The location in Palmetto Dunes is also excellent, walking distance to tennis (unit came with one hour free tennis), nice pool and right on beach.

October Vacation

From the time we opened the door, all we could say was WOW! This condo is everything it says and more! We had beautiful weather for Oct. We expected 70's and were pleasantly surprised with 81-85 and sunny. We enjoyed our lunch every day down by the pool, under the veranda. The view from the balcony is fabulous for watching the sunrise. There is so much room in this condo, and it is beautifully decorated - just as the pictures look! If you need a 3 bedroom condo, this is the one! We would definitely stay here again.

We expected a lot based on the comments we had read. It was even better than expected. The condo was perfect for our group of 8 (5 adults and 3 children). This unit is very clean, well kept, and decorated. This condo is "top-notch" and we have absolutely no complaints. The ocean/pool view is beautiful, the unit is centrally located to many attractions. Bicycles rentals are within walking distance. The weather was the best beach weather ever. We will stay here again on our next visit.

This is our second time staying in this condo. We love it! It is perfect for our group of six adults. We have been coming to Hilton Head for 19 years and this unit is the best place we stayed. Our family of 6 stayed here last week and had a wonderful time. Everything posted in the description is true. The unit is very clean, beautifully decorated and has top of the line housewares. We love to cook and the kitchen tools were great to work with. The condo is is a great location. We very much enjoyed riding bikes on the beach every day and it is a short bike ride to shopping/restaurants and the marina at Shelter Cove, where we enjoyed the eco tour by kayak. We saw many dolphins while kayaking, but also spotted some in front of the condo. I hope we are able to return many times.

My family stayed at 441 for a week in early May. Wow! What an awesome time. This place is right on the beach and overlooking the spectacular pool. We had so much fun combing the beach for treasures by day and relaxing in the comfortable condo at night. The 3 bedrooms slept our family of 6 with beds to spare, and the 3 baths made getting ready in the morning a snap. The place was clean, beautifully decorated, and well-outfitted with flat-screen TV's and kitchen amenities. I almost hate to be so honest for fear it won't be available for our next trip to Hilton Head (planning on next year!) Thanks Sherri!

This place is beautiful, inside and out! We were very comfortable and appreciated the decor and cleanliness. The description and pictures on VRBO site were very accurate but you had to be there to truly realize what an amazing place it is! The owners have thought of everything possible to make sure you have a "carefree" stay. Even though it was cooler outside than we had anticipated,we were able to bike and walk the beach daily and had fun attending theater productions and eating at great restaurants. Captain's Walk 441 certainly met and exceeded our expectations. Although we've rented from Sherri before this was our fist time in 441 and it was great. The unit is in excellent condition complete with 4 flat screen tv's, an oceanfront balcony, and a beautiful decor. The six of us ranged in age from 5 to 63 and it was great for everyone. March 21, 2009 They say a picture is worth a thousand words. In this case, the pictures do not do justice to this beautiful condo. We just spent a wonderful month in 441 Captain's Walk. Sherry and Terry's hands on approach to everything in this conod is very evident. It is beautifully decorated and well appointed with quality furnishings. It is superbly maintained and spotless. We spent 3 weeks in August and this period was a real delight for all of us: impeccable service and accommodation, ideal location by (and view on) a wonderful beach where bathing and cycling are marvelous and most of all very attentive and trustworthy landlords. For the 5 of us, the trip from Europe (France actually) was a first with our kids aged 6/4/2 and we really appreciated the time Sherry Hill spent with us e-mailing details and facilitating our stay. This was our fourth consecutive stay at this beautiful condo. We have always found it to be exceptionally clean, comfortable,and very well maintained. This year was no exception, but in addition, extensive remodeling has been done with many new additions such as flat screen TV's and a stainless steel refrigerator. New paint colors and new carpets enhance what was already a beautiful property. These owners obviously take great pride in ownership to the benefit of their guests. We have been vacationing in Hilton Head for more than 35 years and this is the nicest place we have found, so we will definately be back again next year.

Once again we had a fabulous time staying at your condo! The weather was great-any rain was late after we were through with our fun on the beach and at the pool. We love the new large screen televisions in the living and master areas. We saw a few other new touches-your attention to updating is refreshing in the condo rental market. That's one reason we continue to return every year! Thank you for the personal call to see how everything was-never got that from anyone else! The grandchildren had such a wonderful time. They enjoyed having a TV in their own bedroom to watch those things they love. The new stainless steel fridge in the kitchen is gorgeous along with the new stainless steel small appliances and attractive storage baskets- what a great idea! I look forward to seeing something new every year! We will be booking soon for next year from our favorite and only condo owner at Hilton Head.

Thanks for a great vacation at 441 Captains Walk! After a dismal winter and spring in the Midwest, it was wonderful to experience the sunshine and warm weather of Hilton Head in May. We have been to the island many times and have stayed in various properties. This villa is at the top of the list! The location, decor, and amenities are great. Even the service is top-notch. A maintenance issue we had was quickly corrected. We hope to be back next year!

We had a great week at Captains Walk 441. The villa was great and served as great "home away from home" for the week. The villa was extremely clean and updated with comfy beachy decor. The view from the balcony was perfect and we enjoyed our morning coffee and nightly conversations on the balcony. The kitchen was well stocked and had all of the amenities you could want. The giant plasma in the living room was enjoyed by all. We have stayed at numerous Hilton Head villas in the past and this one tops our list! We look forward to returning next year!

As a fellow VRBO member I would highly recommend this Condominium. The unit condition is excellent, the view is beautiful, and the price very fair. You will not be disappointed. Sherry, we again this year had a great time in Hilton Head. Our 8 year old granddaughter had the best time of all, meeting lots of little girls each day at the pool. I wanted you to know we had a wonderful time at 441 CW. The view and ocean's roar were wonderful--we don't get much of that in Minnesota. We enjoyed a wonderful,relaxing visit in June for our annual family "girl's trip". Although we ended up being only four people, we enjoyed our private space. You spoiled us with the beautiful bedrooms and baths for each. The kitchen was complete with all we needed to cook our own meals and serve on nice dinnerware. The family area was comfortable, clean and well lit for reading after a day on the beach. It was great to be able to do laundry conveniently while we prepared dinner or relaxed in the evening. The convenience of 441 Captains Walk to the beach and pool can't be beat. That's why we are back again renting your three bedroom unit after enjoying your two bedroom unit last year. We knew to expect the best and we got it! Thank you for sharing your vacation place with us. We will definitely be calling for next year's vacation. Bobbi Dangar
