It's like living in a tree house! This luxury home is nestled in the mountains on Lake Nantahala. The home has beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the lake from almost every room.
This vacation home features windows galore! It has two stone wood-burning fireplaces, slate and heart of pine floors, fully-equipped kitchen with limestone countertops, large living room with vaulted ceiling, high-quality sound system, and custom master bath with slate and limestone. There is a huge great room on the lower level featuring a surround-sound home theater system with satellite TV and a DVD/VHS player and a ping-pong table. The main floor is
lit by a multitude of ceiling spots which are on dimmers for romantic nighttime setting. There is a wonderful wrap-around wooden deck on both levels of the house...perfect for relaxing and taking in the view and the clean mountain air. There is even a hammock for those lazy afternoons.
There is a very large dock with 30' ramp. A 26' high performance pontoon boat with Suzuki 4-stroke 140HP motor is available for rental by those that are qualified.

Why the Owner Chose Lake Nantahala
We were looking for a mountain getaway and happened upon this home on Lake Nantahala. It provided the perfect blend of a beautiful home and a comfortable home that our kids could enjoy. The lake is beautiful, quiet and pristine. We have the fabulous views plus plenty of activities for the kids. We felt like we had found one of the best kept secrets in the North Carolina mountains.
The Unique Benefits at this Luxury Home
Lake Nantahala is a great place to relax. In the summer, it is always a wonderful relief from the heat of Atlanta. The lake is perfectly cool and refreshing. Best of all, it NEVER feels crowded. Our family enjoys skiing, tubing, swimming and canoeing. There is wonderful hiking, biking, horseback riding, white water rafting and even a public rifle range.
