Enjoy the sun in the privacy of the fenced in private yard with heated pool at this tastefully, fully equipped home! Turn on the pool jets to relax or switch on the pool heater on a cool evening. Have a drink at the outdoor dining table, or fix a meal on the new gas BBQ. You also might chose to relax in the breezy, screened patio in this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with completely modern facilities. The kitchen is fully equipped and has stainless steel appliances, the bathrooms have granite countertops, and there are state of the art laundry facilities in the spacious laundry room. The living room has a wireless audio docking system and a large, flat, HD screen tv with a Blu-ray player. Each bedroom also has a flat screen tv, including one with an X-box for the kids. Cable tv and wifi are provided.
The 1600 sq. ft. (145 sq. m) house has beautiful oak floors throughout, as well as elegant touches such as crown molding. The design is open concept, with the living room, dining area and kitchen in the center of the house, and the 3 bedrooms surround the main room. French doors in the living room allow a view of the pool, and they open up onto the back patio. Two of the bedrooms have French doors leading out to the front screened patio. All bedrooms have large closets with plenty of storage space, as well as abundant cabinet space in the bathrooms. The ultra comfortable King sized beds and extra long twin beds all have new mattresses with memory foam toppers. Linens and towels are provided, including beach towels. The house is stocked with a selection of dvds, books and games. The pool has an optional child safety fence available.
Use the home as a comfortable base to explore the beautiful, sandy beaches of Ft. Lauderdale, with the nearest beach only 1 ½ miles away. Sample the numerous restaurants close by, which include a number of locally owned and unique fares. Visit the famous Las Olas Blvd. and downtown Ft. Lauderdale, go shopping at the area’s well known malls, enjoy local water sports, spas, and have easy access to supermarkets, banks, and major chain stores. Or drive 3 miles to highway 95 to access any of south Florida’s endless attractions, including Miami and South Beach, which are just a short drive away. This house is in an ideal location, situated in a quiet neighborhood, but just a few minutes away from everything!

About the owner: I have lived in South Florida with my family for over 8 years. We've enjoyed the abundant wildlife and multiple attractions of the area. When we went on family vacations we often rented lovely homes through HomeAway and VRBO, so now that most of my children have left for college I decided to set up my own vacation rental and enjoy my time providing an inviting place for vacationers to stay. It was fun to find the perfect vacation house and to furnish it with attractive and comfortable furniture. I love the win-win concept of these types of rentals- both the guests and owners benefit. The guest spends less money than on a hotel, but gets far more privacy and amenities. The owner gets to have a personal touch with her rental home and maintain a high standard for guests. I look forward to renting to both my fellow Americans and guests from abroad. My approach to assisting clients in meeting their needs is shaped by my unique background of having lived in multiple countries. Having lived in 3 different countries in Europe for over 13 years has shaped my approach in assisting guests in meeting their needs.This helped me understand the unique difficulties one faces when visiting a new place. I am available for questions during a guest’s visit, whether by email or phone. I will also give guests an introductory tour of the area if they wish!

South Florida is a wonderful place to live and visit. Ft. Lauderdale is a vibrant city with abundant restaurants, shopping and beautiful beaches. The house itself impressed me as the perfect place to stay while visiting the area. It has been well maintained and has been tastefully updated. The open concept design is perfect for a family or friends on vacation. The pool is in new condition, and has underwater color changing lights for night enjoyment, plus jets, heating, and a removable child safety fence. The bedrooms are large with plenty of storage. I knew the luxurious bathrooms would be inviting to guests. The quiet mid-century neighborhood is an oasis in the midst of the vibrant city and all its offerings.
