About the owner: We are a family of four with two parents and two children in college. We love to travel and love to have visitors.Jim is an attorney in San Francisco and Kathleen works for a small non-profit.

We love Mill Valley! When we bought our house here 20 years ago, we knew that we had found the perfect location--close to San Francisco, yet a vibrant small town in its own right. A five minute walk takes us to the charming downtown, bustling with restaurants and cafes, Peet's coffee, great shopping and a movie theater. (You can also catch the express bus to San Francisco here) Five minutes in the other direction and you are on the trails of Mt. Tamalpais, famous for hiking and mountain biking. Muir Woods and Muir Beach are a spectacular 20 minute drive away and a day trip to the wine country is a wonderful, easy trip.
Everyone knows what a great city San Francisco is--from our house you can be there in 20 minutes, across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
