In the heart of St. Germain des Pres, surrounded by antique and decoration shops, as well as chic clothes stores, Superb 42 square meter apartment in historic XlX century building. The apartment is on the rue de Grenelle between Blvd. St. Germain and Boulevard. Raspail, half way between the Place de la Concorde and the Luxembourg Gardens, and not far from the Musee d'Orsay and the famous department store Le Bon Marché.
The apartment, on the fourth floor, has been newly decorated in a very design but comfortable style. It is comprised of a living room, bedroom, bathroom with shower and kitchen. All the windows are south facing and look out onto a courtyard ensuring complete calm. The double bed in the bedroom measures 160 by 200. The sofa bed in the living room (120 by 190) can sleep two people comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped. The apartment offers high speed internet connection and cable TV.
The magnificent central staircase of the building is classified thereby preventing the installation of a lift. However we shall be available to help you carry up your suitcases!

The best part about this apartment is its location. By Paris standards, it is roomy enough for two people to stay here comfortably for a month. We had many issues with not having enough space to hang clothes (a large closet is shown, but the hanging rack was only about ten inches). And even by European standards, the washer/dryer was very difficult to operate--it needs replaced. I guess our expectation were a little bit higher, for the price and the neighborhood. I can't even imagine staying here during the heat of July and August, as the apartment is on the fourth floor, and there is no cross ventilation when the windows are opened--but again, just probably something we are not used to. The kitchen was ill-equipped--I advise bringing (or buying) one decent knife for cutting, because you are going to want to slice up all that wonderful produce, bread, and cheese from the Sunday market right around the corner. I can't say enough great things about the location--except for the Montmarte district, we were able to walk everywhere comfortably--you will be right in the center of everything, and there are two metro locations nearby. So, it was definitely a good choice for us.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I highly recommend this beautiful apartment in a great location. Very French rooftop views, very stylish, beautifully furnished, using lovely linens and generous towels. A grey and cream color scheme, wooden flooring, American style kitchen, a comfortable and spacious livingroom with tv, huge bedroom, lovely bathroom with a powerful shower. No lift. Central but quiet, close to two metros, buses, and the Raspail market, lovely walks to the shops and the Seine. Perfect in every sense.
