In addition to the major Ski Resort areas, the house is centrally located to many other attractions, such as Hickory Run State Park, State Game Lands, White-water Rafting, Paintball/Skirmish, Pocono Raceway, golf courses, tennis, basketball courts and the historical Jim Thorpe area, and Outlet Shoppings areas. This house is the perfect Pocono vacation rental home. The home has three bedrooms, one king size bed, five twins, plus a loft area.

Great house for ski trip

This house was great, especially the location. We were able to get to the mountain to ski in under 5 minutes. It is in a beautiful safe community and there are some nice family restaurants right down the street. My family had a great time sitting around the fireplace. I definitely recommend this to any family especially with kids.

The home was neat and clean, however construction in basement left a strong odor. During the day, it was hot because there was no AC, at night a fan was ok, but not great. During our stay, there was a storm which left us no water or electricity for 2 days!! The owner was NOT accommodating to us in any way.
Owner response:I am the homeowner and have had no problems with any guests for the 11 years of renting our house. Mant families return year after year. I keep the house very nice and am always working to upgrade the property. I sincerely appreciate all my guests. In all fairness and to respond to this comment there is a lot of details that are missing concerning their stay. These renters arrived during the worst storm in a decade. I was very cordial to them and understood the problems they must have had with no electricity. I did offer a free weekend to make up for their time without power. However, when this group of renters became offensive to my neighbors and also broke many rules within the develpment and the regional police were summoned and found it neccesary to issue citations I withdrew the offer. I will go above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible but I will not tolerate lawbreakers as I'm sure you wouldn't as well.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers.

My friends and I had a great fun filled weekend. Went tubing at BB and went to Split Rock for messages. It snowed all day Saturday, great development to work around in. Went by the lake, all snow cover. Enjoyed our stay. Everything we need was at the house and things to do where close by. Can't wait to get the chance to go back.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

We stayed for three nights very close to Pocono raceway!!! Could not use washer and dryer that was the only bad part of trip!! Very clean nice area..Lots of deer roaming around..Close to many places to eat!! Would go again!!! The people we rented from were very helpful and nice!!

We rented this house for the Pocono Race...close to the track..and that was a big plus...However, no AC but the fans worked great...Big minus was the basic cable, not good when checking on race events...Very clean and well maintained and had everything we needed...Will defintely think about coming back next year, if the cable is updated......
