Welcome to Casa 'Punta Tranquilo', ideally located on Playa Cocles, just one kilometer away from Puerto Viejo, providing privacy and seclusion within an easy 3 min walk to the beach, bar and restaurants.
The house is located at a the end of a dead end road, in a quiet neighborhood. Set in an attractive tropical garden, it is just 300 meters from Cocles beach, truly one of the best location in the area, between town and the most beautiful beaches south of Puerto Viejo.
It features 2 charming bedrooms, one bathroom, a laundry room, and a big living area with kitchen and living room. The main attraction is the 4 electrical shutters that allow the house to be fully opened to the outside. You can fully enjoy the deck and the beautiful jungle surroundings. Easily manageable with remote controls, the house will be safely shut in only a few seconds whenever you want to leave.
The house is very well equipped and offers :
- flat screen satellite TV,
- adsl Internet and wifi (fairly rare in the area),
- fully equipped kitchen,
- US type big load washer and dryer,
- 2 independent bedrooms, one with a king size bed, the other one with a double bed,

This is a very practical and comfortable home to spend your vacation, as a couple or as a family.
300 meters away, you will find a well known yoga studio and the best coffee shop in the area where you can enjoy local organic fair-trade chocolate. Tasty Waves bar and cantina next door to the coffee shop will be the perfect place to enjoy a fresh beer or cocktail on you way back from the beach or to get a full meal.
Restaurants and supermarkets can be found nearby. The animal rescue center is just a few minutes by bike.
Guests can also enjoy activities such as surfing, snorkeling, hiking, river rafting, horseback riding, zip lining, jungle tours and many more!

Why the Owner Chose Cocles:
The property has been designed and built by the owners who have been living almost full time there.
Unfortunately they can't enjoy the house as much anymore and decided in February 2013 to offer it for rent.
This is not like most rental places that offers a cold atmosphere, this is a comfortable place full of details that make it very unique and give it a hearty feeling...

Prime location, only one kilometer from town and all the commodities, in a very quiet neighborhood full of wildlife.
Heading south, you will reach some of the best beaches in the area. At night you will enjoy the local bar and restaurant, or if you are looking for more nightlife, will still be a few minutes from town and its entertainment.
