Beautiful view, super clean house. I especially enjoyed the mornings on the deck with a cup of coffee. Had a lovely week. Thank you.

The place was amazing. We had 6 people and fit very comfortably. The views were stunning, and we had an amazing dinner out on the deck one night using the grill. It was a short walk down to the beach and stopped many times to collect blackberries along the side of the road. If we find ourselves back up in the area, we will definitely try to stay here again.

Quiet and serene
Quiet and serene
Summerland is a gorgeous property with breathtaking views. It is quiet and serene. The house is beautifully furnished and incredibly comfortable. My husband does a lot of cooking and was pleased with how well equipped the kitchen is. There are several raised beds for a lovely garden. We even used some of the fresh raspberries and kale in our meals. The owners have thought of all the little details that make a house feel like a home. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend anyone stay here.

A Nature Lover's Retreat
A Nature Lover's Retreat
We stayed a week at the Summerland Bluff house. It was wonderful sitting on the deck with the Puget Sound, Whigbey Island and the snow covered Olympic Mountains right in front of me. The Bald Eagles flew overhead while we stood by the bluff. My husband was fishing at the boat dock and two gray whales came out of the water right in front of him. It was a moment he will never forget. This home is located on the south end of Camano Island which is so quiet. (no traffic either) We attended the tulip festival, took an excusion to view whales and shopped at the great studios. We can not wait to return. If you want a nice, quiet nature retreat, this home is for you.

We hope to be back again and again!
We relaxed on the beautiful deck, took a long walk on the beach, drove around Camano Island, and relaxed some more. We discovered lots of changes in the light and the view - a beautiful ever-changing landscape. We saw eagles, hummingbirds and deer! The Bluff House is so very comfortable. We hope to be back again and again.

About: We are professionals who work in the Eastern Washington area but plan to retire to Camano Island in the future. For now, we have Jenn help us with managing the property since she lives close by on Camano and knows the area so well.
Why Camano Island:
We fell in love with the area, and when we saw this house, we immediately knew it was our future home. On the first day there, as we stood looking out at the water, a hummingbird flew up to us and just looked us right in the eye as if to say, “Where’s my nectar?” We knew then that this was the perfect house! There is a pair of resident bald eagles that fly across the back yard, and they choose to raise their young on the bluff near the house. Also, Summerland Beach is a grey whale feeding area in the springtime, and sometimes orcas come into Saratoga Passage in search of food.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
It is very quiet and peaceful at the house – perfect for those seeking a relaxing atmosphere to read, write, paint, or just watch the water! We are five miles from Cama Beach State Park and Camano Island State Park. And for a real treat, stop by the Elger Bay Grocery Store for a glimpse of what a “convenience store” is on Camano Island!
