Punta Cana villa description
Look no further for the ultimate all-inclusive, tropical Caribbean dream vacation destination!
Las Arenas is a nine-bedroom, neoclassical, southern antebellum style, single-family home within the Puntacana Resort and Golf Club in the Province of La Altagracia on the eastern Caribbean coast of the Dominican Republic. The location is only a few minutes’ drive from the Punta Cana International Airport, which has over 60 flights per day arriving from all over the world.
The 13,000 square foot (1200 sq. meters) single-family home complex was built in 2008 for a member of the British royal family, and is privately situated on a 2 acre eco-sensitive property. The compound is comprised of three buildings; the central main house, the guest house and the staff house. The central main home has a spacious, classically-furnished living room, and an exquisitely decorated formal dining room. The luxurious master suite is appointed with a private bath, seating area and private terrace, and adjacent library, computer work station, and entertainment center with cable and projection television and bar. On the ground floor of the main house there are four king-size bedrooms with private baths, central dining room and bar. Artfully decorated interior and exterior terraces on the ground floor offer views of the pool, beautifully landscaped gardens and the crystal blue Caribbean Sea, beyond.
Upon entering the main courtyard of Las Arenas, the visitor views the guest house to the east, appointed with 4 bedrooms, two of which have twin beds and one with a child’s crib. All bedrooms in the tropically inspired decorated guest house have their own full baths and terraces. All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans, and air conditioning as well as wi-fi network.
To the western side of the courtyard is the kitchen, laundry and staff residence. The vehicle parking area is located behind staff residence.
The full-time Villa staff is comprised of five highly-skilled professionals; the cook, the housekeeper, waitress, chauffeur and gardener. Full-time concierge service will fulfill all your needs. Also, there are three golf carts available for use as well as a chauffeur-driven compact automobile.
Meals are prepared at Las Arenas from our extensive, healthy gormet menu and served at the time and place of your choice. Our concierge will work closely with you prior to arrival to arrange the your choices to best suit the desired culinary experience for you and your guests. There are also eight restaurants within the resort to satisfy a wide variety of gastronomical experience, with more dining options located in Punta Cana village, including international cuisine.
Each day your bedroom will be regularly cleaned and in the evening your beds turned down. All laundry will be collected each morning and returned the same day washed and ironed. The refreshment bars are set up at noon with cocktails and wine and again in the early evening for aperitifs before dinner.
Just a short golf cart ride away, there are four championship golf courses, designed by T. Fazio and P.B. Dye. If you are a tennis lover, six beautifully situated courts are also available within the resort. Lawn croquet is a fun way to spend a lazy afternoon on the lush green lawns of the property.
A five-minute walk will lead you to a gorgeous, three-mile long, white sandy beach gently kissing the crystal blue Caribbean Sea. At the end of the beach, by the La Choza restaurant, you will find a complete water sports center for diving, kayaking, sailing, and deep-sea fishing excursions. Also located on the beach, is the famous Puntacana Resort Ecological Foundation Reserve, with 1500 acres of nature preserve featuring pristine fresh water lagoons for a cooling swim. The reserve also a boasts a small zoo populated with indigenous animal life and an organic farm. Walking down the beach in the opposite direction, toward Playa Blanca beach, there is a kite-surfing school, widely used by kite-surfing enthusiasts, where ideal wind conditions exist, most of the year.
The international renowned spa Six Senses is practically on your door step. This tropically exotic facility features Thai, Vietnamese and Shiatsu massage for individuals or couples, a beauty room, and treatment rooms ideal for couples. Each has its own relaxation area and steam room. Two outdoor treatment suites are surrounded by an herb garden and tropical plantings with private baths. As part of the spa's holistic focus, beauty and pampering treatments, hydrotherapy, yoga, pilates, reiki and meditation are also offered.
Your unforgettable stay at Las Arenas will be tailored to your needs. The all-inclusive 'personal touch' encompasses every aspect of your stay, whether you would like breakfast in bed or dinner by the pool. Our chauffeur will whisk you to any location within the Bavaro-Veron vicinity. Golf carts are on hand if you want to visit the beach, the restaurants and bars or a trip to the ecological reserve.

Revel in luxury and nostalgia!
Revel in luxury and nostalgia!
I just waned you to know what a wonderful three days I spent at Las Arenas. I literally reveled in luxury and nostalgia. The house is in perfect, gleaming condition and the reception I had from your fantastic team there - Dorka, Pichi, Maria, Renold and your new laundress - was heartwarming. They produced delicious meals as always and looked after me with smiles and great affection. Las Arenas is literally the most beautiful house in Punta Cana - I venture to say in the whole of the DR (I have been to most of the grandest on the island). I had forgotten how deliciously comfortable is the bedlinen from Mongrammed Linen Shop in London! To look back at Las Arenas' "antebellum" columns from the end of the pool is an experience I will never forget......and to be able to walk to the glorious white beach 200 yards away for a dip before breakfast in the ultimate luxury. Thank you! And I long to come back - with as many of my family as I can muster.

Truly Magnificant Villa!
Truly Magnificant Villa!
Just returned from a lovely stay at Las Arenas in the Dominican Republic in August. What a treat it was! My traveling companions included three moms and five children ranging in age from 10-16 and all of us were thrilled. The house was so much more than I ever expected - the pictures really do not do it justice. The location is ideal - ocean views and breeze, the golf course out your back door, the exquisite 60 foot pool, the croquet lawn, and the the hammock overlooking it all. There are so many spots to curl up to read and relax that you have to plan out your naps out in advance It was the most truly peaceful relaxing home that I have ever stayed at,. The staff, led by Paola the house manager, delightfully shared her expertise regarding the Dominican life style. She arranged in home massages, snorkeling, horseback riding on the beach, visits to the natural lagoons all within a short golf cart ride from the house. The 3 provided golf carts were your ticket to all beaches, golf and restaurants and the kids were in heaven with the independence this afforded them. We were hard pressed not to try and smuggle Dorka, the amazing chef, home in our luggage! The shrimp dish, you will NEVER forget and heer Bolognese sauce is to die for. as well as everything else she prepared. We loved the local fare that was prepared as it made our stay in the DR that much more special as well. I have one son who is a particular eater, and without asking grilled cheese sandwiches and personal, pizza were served to him.Pichi, the butler, was always ready and waiting with a rum punch or one of his other speciality drinks, I'm a creative director in the beauty/fragrance indusy by profession and I found the house and its furnishings to be exquisite. I have traveled quite extensively and stayed it many fine hotels, but none compared to this. The great room had soaring 15 foot ceilings with the breeze wafting through the french doors to the back veranda where it overlooked a lovely courtyard with the relaxing sound of fountains and birds singing. We dined on a different veranda each night, the furnishings, the art, the landscaping, were impeccably done. A feast for the eyes and soul!!! We sincerely hope we can return in the near future!!!

Everything and more
Everything and more
Our week long stay at Las Arenas was a visit to paradise. With an exceptional staff to make us very comfortable the moment we arrived, it was easy to let go and relax. The pool and grounds are beautiful, private, peaceful and inspiring. The house and guesthouse allowed plenty of space when we wanted to be together as well as privacy for anyone wanting quiet time. Each meal was better than the last-after choosing a general menu prior to our arrival, we were very happy with our cooks choices and if there was a special request, it was fulfilled along with a smile. With the three golfcarts at our disposal it was easy for our group to split off if a few of us wanted to go to the white sand beach (5 minutes) and others wanted to swim in the fresh water lagunas (10 minutes). The concierge/property manager Paola loves what she does and it radiates from her. From arranging a masseuse to come to the house to shopping guide and translator she truly was a pleasure to work with. Las Arenas is a ten minute car ride from the airport leaving more time to enjoy this very special place.

Las Arenas is surely the nicest place I have visited and stayed in the Caribbean. The staff along with the service they delivered was impeccable. Everyone for the entire stay was friendly and anxious to serve. The meals prepared were beautifully done and of course the beverages that came with the stay were more than ample. We stayed a Sunday through Thursday and although the airport in Punta Cana is very busy, we seemed to get through the airport, customs, etc. rather quickly. The time went so quickly that I only had time for 9 holes. I played Arecife. The Bermuda grass greens are a little more bristly than I am accustomed to in the NC mountains, but once adjusted, the putts seemed to find the hole. The fairways, clubhouse, and golf experience was excellent, especially those running along the ocean. Thankfully, I took my time researching this area as Punta Cana is a large area with a variety of options for travelers. After setting out to other areas it was clear I had made the perfect decision to stay at Las Arenas. There were no others that I saw that could remotely compare. Everything presented by the management team was exactly as described and we are thrilled! We will definitely be returning to Las Arenas!

A very special place
A very special place
Las Arenas is a truly magical place where you feel like you have been transported back to a more traditional, gracious time. It is especially fun to go with a group of people, or family group because the accommodations are so generous and spread out over a large but private space. All the rooms are beautifully decorated in a traditional English, plantation style that reflects an interesting owner, who is well travelled. It feels tropical and exotic, yet gracious and comfortable. There is no problem relaxing here because the staff is so attentive, you don't have to do anything. Paola, the concierge was very helpful in planning and translating because my spanish is weak. I told her the kinds of things we like to eat- lots of seafood, fresh salads and fruit. They did all the shopping and the whole effort involved about 10 minutes on my part. Truly the food that Dorca, the cook, prepares is delicious and we didn't even want to go to a restaurant because the setting there is more beautiful than any restaurant. We preferred to eat on the terrace looking at the pool, but there were several places to dine. The back upper terrace, looking over the garden, terrace by the pool, and lunch or breakfast in the casual long table in the shady central hall. Simply say the word about where you want to dine next! Paola helped to arrange scuba diving for my teenage children and they enjoyed exploring caves with a local guide. We all had massages at the spa, which I would highly recommend doing soon after you arrive because you will shift into total relaxation immediately! We just got into golf carts and went exploring. There are some wonderful clear lagoons and walks in protected areas. We also went kayaking in sea kayaks that were available through the Punta Cana resort, and the guys played golf. Apparently the course is very challenging, not to mention beautiful, overlooking the ocean. Our favorite activity however, was playing croquet on the regulation size course which is groomed like a golf putting green. We were out there several times a day with frozen lemonade or cocktails being brought by the most attentive staff. It was so much fun to do before dinner, and the sunset looking from there back to the house or out to the sea was stunning. Our family enjoyed it so much that we are trying to plan the next time everybody can go because we want to stay longer next time!
