Charming 18th Century Provencal Farmhouse which has retained many of its original features with private courtyard and private swimming pool situated in the beautiful Luberon National Park area of Provence. Located on the outskirts of Cavaillon, a bustling, living French town with lots of amenities.
The Farmhouse is five kilometers from the A7 Autoroute, 30 minutes from the T.G.V. Avignon station, 35 minutes from Marseille airport and 60 minutes from Nimes airport. It is an ideal and central location for touring all the beautiful villages of Provence.
Accommodation:
Ground floor. The Farmhouse kitchen has beamed ceilings and is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, micro-wave, fridge, cooler, freezer, oven, hob and seating for eight people. Also an AGA oven for the winter.
Sitting room has a beamed ceilings open log fireplace, Sky Television, DVD Player, Video Player & CD player. There are also French doors which open onto the terrace.
Study has a leather sofa, desk and chair and French doors that open onto the terrace. There is also a door from the study to the cave (14 degrees) cold room for storage of wine etc.
First floor:
Large Master bedroom with a SuperKing Sized bed (Queen Sized bed), fitted cupboards and has an extra large en suite bathroom with separate shower. Second double bedroom with fitted cupboards. Twin bedroom in beautiful blue design with fitted cupboards. Bathroom with separate water closet.
THE HOUSE IS AIR-CONDITIONED THROUGHOUT.
OUTSIDE
The beautiful courtyard has a large terrace with barbeque, pizza oven, seating for eight people, additional seating areas and a private swimming pool. There is also an outside wc and shower.
The Area:
The Luberon is well know for its walking, biking, canoeing, wine, olive tours and antique shops.Wine and lavender museums, snail parks cave and vine yards. With many famous magnificent hill top villages with narrow streets, colorful markets, cafes and splendid views across the Luberon National Park.
Nimes, Arles, Pont Du Gard, St. Remy, Vaison la Romaine and Orange all with extensive Roman buildings and historic remains. The wonderful Sunday market at L'Isles-la-Sorgue is nearby and is still one of the best antique markets in Provence.
The Camargue with its beaches, wild horses and wild life is only 90 minutes away. Cavaillon known for its melons is a small town with all the facilities for every day life (banks, supermarkets etc.) and has many quality shops, restaurants, wine caves and with a local market held every Monday.

My 2 young relatives and I spent 10 days at the end of the summer at this very beautiful house in Cavaillon. The house is truly beautiful, with a marvelous kitchen--large, attractive, and wonderfully outfitted. Bedrooms are large, light and extremely comfortable. Every modern convenience has been brought into the house and it is immaculate in every way. There is also plenty of LR space and outdoors a very nice garden with eating place for outdoor dining right off the kitchen. There is also an immaculately clean and attractive swimming pool. Cavaillon is perfectly situated--within easy reach of Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Cassis, Rousillon, Gordes, Les Baux, Menerbes, Bonnieux, Oppede-le Vieux, Arles, St. Remy, Isle Sur La Sorgue and a host of other delightful towns with wonderful outdoor markets and everything Provence has to offer. The owners couldn't be friendlier or more eager to help. I not only would but already have recommended this place to friends and relatives and look forward to going back the next time Provence is on my agenda.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We rent a villa nearly every year in the South of France. We rented this Villa several years ago. The memories are sill wonderful. This is an exceptional house. The outdoor areas are wonderful. The pool area, outdoor dining, and the gravel driveway that we turned into a boulle court bring back many wonderful memories. The house remained cool, even through record heat in Provence. The pool was beautiful. You really need to drive to any village. The price was a bargain for what we received. We had a family of two adults, three children, but the house could accommodate much more. Wonderful place. Highly recommended.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
