The glass walls of this unit offer stunning views overlooking all of Cabo San Lucas and the marina below. The glass wall fully retracts so the spacious balcony joins with the superbly appointed living and dining area. On the balcony, in addition to the comfortable furniture, you can relax in the stone soaking tub to sip wine while enjoying the view of the city below. The kitchen features top of the line stainless appliances and granite countertops with a gas cook top for the discerning cook. The oven and microwave are built into fine wood cabinets one over the other. For your convenience, we provide a drip coffee maker, a blender and a toaster. There is a wine cooler under the granite topped island to keep you beverages at the perfect temperature. The dining area features a round table comfortably seating six.
The master bedroom opens onto the balcony with the same stunning views. It is furnished with a King bed, fine linens and satellite TV. The master bath includes a Jacuzzi tub and separate travertine and glass shower as well as a wide double bowl vanity with a stone top. The large second bedroom features a well furnished private balcony with the same magnificent views as well as two queen beds and more high quality linens. It is also furnished with satellite TV. The ensuite bath has double bowl sinks and a stone and glass shower.
On the main level the property offers plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas surrounding the large free form pool, with a separate hot tub. There is a gas supplied fire ring on the patio area surrounding the pool. On the opposite side of the pool area is a traditional palapa for shade as well as a gas grill and serving area for guest use. The pool area affords its own facilities and changing area. On this level in the next building, are the work out facilities. There are two treadmills, an elliptical machine and a recumbent bicycle; additionally there are free weights, benches and a universal machine. Towels and water are also provided.
Our condo is located in the exclusive Pedregal section of Cabo. This gives you have access to its private beach on the Pacific side. It is a short drive over the top of the hill and down to the beach. We often bring a bottle of wine and some snacks to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. If you are here at the right time of year, the whales can often be seen close to shore, as they migrate around the tipoff Cabo to the birthing areas in the Sea of Cortez.
A car is not necessary, but Molly and I usually rent one so we can drive around and see the area. The property manager can arrange for transportation to and from the airport. She will also coordinate maid service, if desired: Both will incur an additional charge. On your way from the airport stop, or have the driver stop, at Wal-Mart or one of the other stores to pick up supplies for your stay. It is an easy drive (45 minutes) from the Airport mostly on the newly improved highway. There are both a full size washing machine and dryer in the unit.
Breakfast is now available in the on-site restaurant on the Pool level.

At the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula, where the warm waters of the Gulf of California meets Pacific Ocean is located Cabo Viejo unit #21. It is located in Pedregal; the most luxurious section of Cabo San Lucas, on the hillside overlooking the harbor. Just a few minutes walk to all the food and fun of Cabo. The legendary Mi Casa restaurant is just short walk, as is the Cabo Wabo Cantina an easy walk home at the end of the night. The Marina with many fine restaurants is also just a few hundred yards away. The marina is also where you will find water taxi to the Lovers beach as well as a Captain for a day of deep sea fishing. Boats are also available for cruising and the whale watching can not be beaten. The Cabo Aquarium with its Dolphin adventure allows you a rare chance to swim with the dolphins in their magnificent facility.

About the owner: Molly and I are Beach and Water people. Our home and offices are in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA, but we try to spend as much time as possible at our house on the beach in Maine. Around 15 years ago we traveled to Mexico for the first time. It was love at first vacation. We feel very safe in Cabo. The people are friendly and helpful most have some fluency in English. Cabo weather is almost always sunny. They average less than one week of rain a year. Ten years ago we spent Christmas in Cabo, our family has spent or Christmas vacationing in Cabo San Lucas ever since. In each of the last 5 years we have searched for just the right property. This last Christmas we found it.
Why the Owner Chose Pedregal: Our condo is unit #21 at Cabo Viejo. Cabo Viejo is small enough to have a feel of community yet large enough to offer all the comforts and amenities we are used to enjoying. The unit itself is first class as are the facilities. It is a very short walk to and from town so it is possible to go with out a car. Paola, the rental manager can arrange for transportation to and from the airport in San Jose del Cabo. She is the go to person for any extras or requests that you might desire. She can provide a cook to prepare meals at your unit or you can enjoy one of the many, many fine restaurants in Cabo. Again most are within walking distance. One of our favorite restaurants for Mexican food is Mi Casa. Night life is only a few more blocks away; you have to visit the legendary Cabo Wabo Cantina. It has the most astounding house band every night and you never know who will drop in for an impromptu show. We have seen Toby Keith and the former owner Sammy Hagar to name a few.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: My favorite time is at night, we are sitting in the tub on the balcony with a glass of red wine just starring out at the lights of the city twinkling below. The stars seem close enough to touch and the moon is sparkling off the water. A cruse ship, lit up light a floating city, glides from the bay on its way to the next port. I take this time to plan or events for the next day. Possibly a trip up the coast to the surfing beach at Los Cerritos, about an hour up the coast or beyond that to the town of Todos Santos. Todos Santos is the home to another Baja legend The Hotel California featured in a song by The Eagles.
