This is a great place with a great location as well. The studio condo has everything two people will need to base a cabo experience out of. Easy walk to the beach and easy walk to town for food and fun. You can from time to time here music from across the harbor but drink a couple of margaritas and you will be good to go. The property was clean but I do recommend a cleaning service mid week to get the sand out that you inevitably track in. Mike was great at answering questions and providing good info. You really cannot go wrong and I have been bragging since I got back about how great this trip and this place was. While not the cheapest margaritas, Monkey Business has the best margarita we have ever tasted. Got a great massage from Lolo's behind Solomon's Landing. Hit up Chaurra (Argentinian Steakhouse) on the other side of town. A dinner for two with huge beef rig, 2 sausages, split a flank steak, large salad and a bottle of wine will set you back $50 bucks. There are tons of great options so do some exploring and find one you like.

My sister and I rented one of the condos for her 30th birthday vacation plus our first annual pilgrimage to escape the grey weather we both live in (Seattle and Humboldt)! While this is not a "luxury" condo/resort/villa it WAS everything it said it was and we are very happy. The location, price, staff at the condos and MIKE are why we give this full stars. We were looking for a pleasant place that was convenient to everything that we could afford on a somewhat budget (we'd rather spend our money enjoying the activities and adventures of Cabo). We got just that. The only "could have been betters" for us would be - sometimes the noise of the heart of Cabo could keep you up if you are a light sleeper (probably only true for Marina side condos which we were in), the pressure of the shower could be stronger, and the beds are not the most comfortable but totally fine. But those are completely outweighed by all the other following greats: Mike and all his advice and accommodating, the staff of MCP, especially Luis, dependable internet (although you really do need to use it from the patio - I was able to keep up with a distance education master's program I am in throughout my entire vacation), walking everywhere including restaurants, nightlife, WATER ACTIVITIES, Medano Beach (definitely the lively beach and we really enjoyed the vendors everyone else seems annoyed by in other reviews of Cabo places), and really easy parking if you rent a car (which we did). It was really easy to get to/from this condo both walking and driving. And be warned...if you are reading this and thinking about your first trip to Cabo...it is absolutely addicting. I've been severely depressed since returning to grey Seattle and daydream about not just returning to Cabo but making a life there. It is PERFECT!

Cabo Paradise

We spent 2 weeks in CABO paradise - 1st time ever and we'd definetly go again. We stayed in unit 102B which was fantastic. Mike was EXCEPTIONAL - we are 1st time VRBO "participants" and Mike was very patient and only an email away with advice, information and great restaurant tips! The room was excellent - balcony exceptional and the bed so comfortable. Extra towels, beach towels and although NO pool the beach was a 5 minute walk! We were up early every morning watching the huge yatchs & commerical fishermen get ready to take out the tourists - the views were breathtaking and if we didn't feel like the beach - just hung out on the huge balcony and laid on the comfortable loungers to read and sun tan! The blender was working non-stop for our margarittas, and the store just below the condo met all our needs!! Our favorite restaurants were - Solomons for a great breakfast & people watching. Salvatore's - unreal italian food, appetizers and bread! We always split a entree because they were huge! La Dolce was great for pizza & italian. Alcavarase was very quaint and the food also very good! We went to the restaurant just outside our condo for burger & fries - very good! The people of Cabo were wonderful, happy, friendly and poliet! Thanks again for a memorable trip MIKE....we'll be back!!

Perfect location for us, Pam having mobility restrictions..we covered the whole Marina many times, no problem in wheelchair accessability,restaurants,bars,stores etc. Everything needed close by,Pharmacy in the building, all staff willing to assist at any time..Great balcony viewing & people watching. Do not be afraid of missing any Sports,they will tune you in to whichever you desire,right next door at the Mango Cantina,probably a dozen screens,good food & drinks,We watched all NFL games during our 3 week stay,also I was up every Sat. a.m. watching Premiur League Soccer.Tripped around quite a bit,couldn't have found a better location, Thanks Mike, I am sure we will return..

Simply the BEST!!

This was the perfect little "home away from home"!!! Condo was clean, beautiful and really felt like a home ..... not at all a "hotel room" feeling!! It was also so convenient to to anywhere on the Marina and be able to pop in to change, rest or just hang out before heading back out! Lots of Resturants close by and the beach is 10 mins walk away!! I could not imagine staying anywhere else while in Cabo!! Big balcony was the best........ sitting and seeing the local life start early in the morning (fisherman) with a coffee in hand was pricless!! and at night ....... so beautiful!! Bed is sooooooooo comfy ... I wanted to take it home with me!! To the left of the Condo (on the way to beach) was the best Mango Margaritas and Shrimp Cevichi ever (at Fishermans Landing - nice staff too) I am in love with Cabo and now I feel like I have a little home there waiting for me .....LOVED IT!! Before finding Mike and Marina Cabo Plaza, I had stayed at several hotels in and around Cabo. After having the good fortune of finding Mike's Studio Condos at Marina Cabo Plaza, I have stayed nowhere else. I just got back 1 Dec. 2010, and that was my 31st trip to Cabo. It would be easy for me to ramble on about the Condos. I prefer to get to the point and begin with saying how helpful and easy to work with Mike and the staff at MCP have always been. A better location with a great view one will be hard pressed to find. MCP and the Condos have always been clean, well maintained, and secure. It is quite simply the best bang for the buck you will find in Cabo San Lucas.

The Perfect Location for an awesome week in Cabo!

Went down to do a little fishing, drinking and general relaxation. Gotta say, the location of this condo was perfect all the way around. For the fishing: I woke up and stumbled downstairs to board the boat. For the drinking: You can go downstairs to one of the many great establishments at the Plaza, or wander into town for some tequila and fun. Relaxation is a 5 minute walk to the beach. While all of these options can be a little overwhelming for a first timer, Mike was great about sharing the knowledge. Gotta say, I can't wait to go back to Cabo and at least one of Mike's condos had better be available! Next time, I'll bring some snorkeling gear...Thanks Amigos! EAT AT PEPE'S!

Perfect Getaway!

We spent our honeymoon at the Marina Cabo Plaza, and had an amazing stay! The accomodations were perfect. The unit was situated in an ideal location for all of our activities. We spent a week there and everything we did was within walking distance. It was great waking up each morning to a beautiful view of the marina through the floor to ceiling windows! The unit was very comfortable. The bed, chairs, and deck funiture were all just right. The kitchen served our needs perfectly, and the bathroom was large enough for both of us to use at the same time. The staff was excellent, too. They were courteous and extremely helpful. We probably would have missed our flight home if Luis hadn't gone to so much effort helping us find a ride to the airport! We enjoyed walking to all of the great attractions Cabo has to offer. We also enjoy running, and the great location of the unit afforded us great options for early morning runs. Medano beach was just steps away in one direction, and the Marina and town in the other. We took the water taxi to the arch, parasailed, snorkeled, swam with dolphins, and took a sunset cruise. Of course, sometimes we had the most fun just lying on the beach, or lounging and enjoying the view from our lovely unit's private balcony!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was picture perfect! The view of the Marina from the balcony is awesome! The room was just the right size, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We used the tv and the radio. The mini fridge came in handy for drinks and leftovers. The bathroom was beautifully tiled and the shower was spacious, with good water pressure. The sliding glass doors brought in a refreshing sea breeze! The balcony is wonderful at night to relax and have a drink on. No bugs! We felt very secure with the double locks on our door and then the locked gate at the entrance of the stairs. The Plaza's staff was very friendly and accommodating, providing beach towels upon request. The convenience store and bar/restaurant below the plaza were both very handy to utilize for an ATM, snack, meal, or drink Marina- side. As far as Cabo, what a fantastic place to escape to! Amazing views, clear aqua waters, and LOTS to Do! We rode ATV's in the desert and on the beach, rode horses in the desert, went on a glass- bottom boat tour, and a sunset "booze" cruise. My husband shared a fishing charter and I shopped! We rented a moped for a few hours and then a car. There are taxi's everywhere to get you to and from, but everything is within walking distance.The beach was a short walk and very clean. We LOVE Mexican cuisine as Cabo was the place to find amazing meals. We'd recommend Gardenia's right down the hill from the Plaza, Amazing food and cheap! Open 8-5. Cabo Wabo, Senior Greenburg's, Baha Lobster were also great. There was another breakfast place, with a pirate/Spanish Armada decor that was part of the Marina Fiesta resort, with delicious selections for $10 per person, all you ordered. We loved the shrimp omelet, delicious sweet bread/croissant type rolls, fresh fruit and coffee. We honestly had NO bad meals while in Cabo, everything was delicious (and I'm picky). As far as night life, Cabo has it all. High energy dance, music, cocktails or relaxed low key places to hide away in the corner and just relax together. We liked the Giggling Marlin, Squid Row, the Museum of Tequila,the Mandarin and all of the restaurants on the Marina. If like Mariachis, the Marina is the place to go. Everyone was very fun and laid back that we met in the bars and restaurants. They are happy for your business and really walk to please you. I would recommend the Cabo Marina Plaza and Cabo San Lucas to anyone and everyone! It was a DREAM honeymoon!

My husband and I booked a lovely suite from Mike. Due to medical reasons we had to cancel our trip. Mike was just amazing !!!!! The communication was very good and we had all of our questions answered with lots of hints and helpful info. Payment via paypal was a breeze and when we had to cancel Mike sent us the refund immidiately. When my husbands health is better we will definitely book with Mike again.

I went to Cabo as a single women and I stayed in Mike’s units for 2 weeks in March 2010. Dealing with Mike was reassuring as he gave me all kind of tips, good recommendations and was always pleased to answer my questions. His suggestion about the shuttle from & to the airport was fantastic. These people were nice, professional and reliable. I was so pleased when I arrived to the unit. The place is charming, safe, clean and the location is the best. 5 minutes walking distance to the beach, to many restaurants, to grocery shopping and night life. The people on site were very welcoming & helpful. Thank you Mike, you now have one more repeat client to be !

Our Cabo trip and accomodations were wonderful! As so many other guest have mentioned, the location is perfect! Exceptional restaurants, shopping, and entertainment are only steps away. Even a great little convenient store right next door. The condo staff was very helpful, cheerful, and room was clean, comfortable, and attractive. Mike emailed us several times with helpful info about transportation and activities. His passion for Cabo and his willingness to answer our questions was a definite plus, reassuring us we were in good hands from the start. We even had the pleasure of meeting him in person. Fabulous location, right on the Marina and only a five minute walk to the beach. Perfect location if you don't have a car. Great deal as well, considering the high costs of the hotels and resorts. We'll definitely stay here again.

Best Vacation Ever!

We just returned from a one week stay at MCP and my boyfriend and I both agree that it was the best vacation we've ever been on! Our room was perfect - a kitchenette for a quick scrambled egg breakfast in the AM and a huge balcony with a bbq for nighttime grilling. You couldn't ask for a better location either - right on the marina, close to restaurants, bars, the beach and great for a day of just watching the boats come and go as you catch some rays on the balcony. We are already trying to figure out when we can return - hopefully soon!!

Our stay at Marina Cabo Plaza was great! From booking to checkout, the whole package was well managed and easy for us. Mike made sure we had all the information and more prior to arrival and kept us informed by email during our stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. We would definitely stay at the Marina with Mike again and highly recommend it to anyone who will be visiting Cabo. Thanks!

We were absolutely amazed at how accurate the descriptions of the unit we stayed at were. It was bright and airy, very clean and open. It was the most enjoyable vacation my husband and I have ever taken. It was perfect, we could look out onto the Marina from our balcony and sit and have coffee in the mornings and drinks in the evenings watching the fishing boats and people come and go. Mike was excellent in providing everything that we asked for, I would definately recommend this property to any one looking for a place to stay that is close to the action and has some very good restaurants. The best place for food is the little Mom & Pop restaurants just off the main marina, don't be afraid to wander out, some of the best deals are out there, along with some of the best food. We have decided that we will be coming again to Los Cabo and would love to stay in the same place again.

I chose a condo rather than a hotel for a couple reasons: 1. I feel like it's safer that I have the key and room service is not coming in and out everyday 2. I wanted a mini-kitchen to reheat leftovers 3. I didn't want to walk through a crowded Cabo hotel lobby everytime I came home. This condo was perfect for me (traveling alone). Just the right size and it's a short walk to Medano beach. The location was great. The condo itself was clean and safe.

My stay at MCP was great.I stayed during the month of March and everything in the condo worked,was clean,and close to all attractions and activities. The staff was very helpful and always willing to make my stay comfortable. The balcony has a great view of the marina and a nice warm breeze. My favorite pass time was watching how the sports fishing fleets did for the day.MCP is so close the fishing fleet I recommend it to fishermen. (no need for cabs, easy to move coolers, tackle, buy fishing licenses and last minute items) The fishing during this time as always was great catching over 10 marlin, 15 dorado,and a few tuna With the Govita #7 who I fish with for over 15 years.Marina Cabo Plaza has been and will be my stay for future trips to Cabo. I highly recommend Marina Cabo Plaza. Mike the owner is very helpful and accomodating when making reservations. Thanks Mike and all the staff at Marina Cabo Plaza.

MIKE IS THE REAL DEAL. HE IS ON IT. WE LOVE THE MARINA CABO PLAZA FOR IT'S CENTRAL LOCATION AND FUN ROOMS. I LIKE THE ROOMS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT LOST THEIR MEXICAN FLAVOR WITH THE TILES AND COLORS. THE PEOPLE IN THE OFFICE ARE FRIENDLY AND RESPONSIVE. ALL OF MIKE'S RECOMMENDATIONS ARE SPOT ON. WE TRIED MOST OF THEM! CABO HAS HAD MANY CHANGES SOME GOOD SOME NOT. Hola! Mike's place was awesome! We booked very last minute and Mike was so accomodating, he even offered another studio to us after we checked in that was canceled and we took it and loved it! The check-in was wonderful! We loved Luis, he was so helpful and friendly. The studio was very clean and modern, nice flat screen TV. Very nice modern bathroom. The kitchenette was very helpful for keeping our cervaza's nice and cold and then to sit on the huge balcony, aww., wish we were there now. We have done quite alot of traveling and Mike was the most helpful with Cabo tips, what a great guy! Staying on the Marina was wonderful. Every morning we could watch the fishing boats leave and in the afternoon when they come back in, with all their Seagull fans trailing right behind them was so funny to watch. The seagull's knew what boats they would be getting left over fish from. I would recommend Mike's place! Go stay and enjoy Cabo at a slow pace. You can always go in town for the action. This condo was very pretty to stay in. Cheers to Mike! Adios!

Stayed at the marina view condo the weekend b/f thanksgiving. Mike was very helpful. The condo was clean and a/c worked well. The nice tv was great for the evening while watching the days marlin fishing videos. Best location in Cabo for the fisherman. Caught 28 marlin in 3 days with redrum (located downstairs).

I loved it! Spacious rooms, clean and quiet, with nice kitchenette! Right on top of the sportfishing action, I couldn't have been more pleased. I felt safe and never worried about my personal affects. Nice in room safe and security was ever present in the lobby. It is my new home in Cabo!

It was my 2nd stay at MCP, and it's a no brainer...close to everything; clean, quiet, and comfortable. I'm in cabo to fish, and you can't get any closer to the action then MCP. I won't stay anywhere else! Kudos Mike...:)

Best Vacation Ever!!! We stayed in the Marina View unit...it was most excellent!!!! The condo was centrally located, and my girlfriend and I absolutely loved being able to walk to everything!!!! We'll be back for sure - and Rod and Mike were awesome!!!!

Mike was great! all his recommendations were awesome. The condo was comfortable, clean and in a great location. We had a great time in Cabo. We had great food and a lot of fun. The fishing was a once in a lifetime experience. We caught two large Marlin and best of all is that we were able to release them back. We had the privilege to see whales, dolphins and seals. Red Rum, the boat charter was great. We will definately be coming back and we are hoping to stay at Mike's place again.

We stayed in the studio unit October 25 - 31 of 2007. It far exceeded our expectations, and was described accurately in the listing. Very neat, clean, and quiet, but right in the heart of Cabo. EVERYTHING is within walking distance. It was perfect for the 2 of us, and we will be returning this year - no need to look anywhere else. A huge thanks to Mike for his information about the area. We will be back.

We stayed in this unit just prior to Christmas 2007 and will definitely return in the near term. The 1BDR place was spacious and had all the accomodations you need. Kitchenette, Fridge, Sink, Microwave, Cable, CD Player, DVD player, BBQ, Patio. The location was perfect and the views of the Marina, Downtown and Pedrigal mountain were amazing. I was blown away by the amount of fishing boats and 100+ foot multi-million dollar yachts in the marina. If you are into relaxing on the beach, shopping, dining, dancing and/or fishing in some of the best aquatic waters in the Pacific/Baja this is a fantastic location. The shopping mall might be one of the most impressive malls I've ever seen and certainly worth passing through to check out the wall to wall marble and granite work. I couldn't imagine staying in a 5 star resort when you could stay in this highly affordable private condo with all the activities imaginable just a few footsteps away. If you go, check out the outdoor GoKart Racing track just as you head into town. Those things are a blast!! I give this place an A+++++ Cheers

GREAT VACATION!!!! We only stayed for few days, but the short travel time combined with the exotic destination had us feeling recharged none-the-less. As others have mentioned, the location and amenities made this condo perfect. We loved the option of being able to walk to whatever restaraunt or bar we wanted (aside plug: Go to Pepe's for tacos and the Love Shack for drinks) or being able to kick back in the condo and make up a little snack w/beers on the patio. In short, this was the perfect place to stay for the perfect destination. Special thanks to Mike for his advice and to do tips. As the old saying goes - this place has it!!! Right on the Marina with an excellent view. We were in walking distance to everything - sandy beaches, marina, great restaurants, bars, shopping and more. The unit looks exactly like the pics - cheery, clean, and roomy (and the bed was very comfortable). I would recommend this place to any of my friends. It's a great place at a great price - best kept secret in Cabo!

The unit is centrally located right on the marina. Walking (or staggering)distance from the main beach or downtown. Well maintained and very clean. It is spacious for a studio. The marina views are gorgeous. Smoked fish, an esspresso shop, restaurants, a convienience store, and activities are nearby. The lobby is nice and the staff is helpful. I highly recommend to all and definetely plan to use the unit again. Repeatedly!

We stayed at your marina unit from 1/14-1/20 and had a great time. We are very satisfied customers and will definitely be booking another trip in the near future. You just can't beat the location!! The view from the Marina unit is amazing with a full view of the marina and downtown Cabo. You can spend many hours perched on the balcony watching the boats and marina foot traffic during the day and the lit up downtown after sunset. Everything is within walking distance. I walked one morning to the beach on the Sea of Cortez and the next morning to the beach on the Pacific Ocean. Restaurants and Bars are plentiful. The condo comfortably slept myself on the futon and another on the bed. The mini kitchen serves its purpose with sink, mini fridge, and microwave. Hot water was never a complication. We got great Wi-Fi reception in the condo which was an added bonus. Oh- and Kudos to Mike for all your recommendations on the activities. By the way, the Redrum recommendation was fantastic. The best experience we've had with a boat, the crew, and not to mention, all the marlin and dorado we pulled in!!!!

The accomodations arent world class but Id rather stay here than the Weston. The unit was immaculate and cozy . The most impressive feature ( hard to match anywhere in cabo ) is the convience ,the proximity to the mall , restuarants , clubs and the boardwalk is awesome. I am looking forward to a return trip. We stayed on the Street Side Unit and it FAR exceeded our expectations. We can't say enough about the location. It was perfect! Right in the middle of anything you wanted to see or do without that "Touristy" feel. The DVD Player, Hot Plate,Pans,Iron,Blow Dryer and Great Linens & Dishes were bonuses that we were expecting to live without at such a resonable price. We were very comfortable. Didn't want to come home and hope that when we get the opportunity to return we have the option of staying the same place, having more BBQ's on "Our" little patio. Thanks Rod!!! Mark and Robin

We stayed at your place Feb 18-25. The Condo was great as well as the folks at the front desk. Although I speak Spanish, they are fluent in English and were very cordial and helpful. The condo has a great view and is centrally located. The beach was a ten-minute walk in one direction, downtown was a 10 minute walk in the other. We had a great time! It was clean, plenty of hot water, and the kitchen was a plus!!!

My husband and I rented Oct 7-9, 2005. What a fantastic location at an exceptional rate! The unit is quiet, air conditioned and well equipped. In one direction, a 10 min walk and you're at a quiet beach (front of Hacienda). In the other direction along the Marina, you can walk to the new mall, with wonderful restaurants, live mariachis playing. A little further and you're on the main strip where all the happening clubs are. You don't even need a car because of the great location. We will definitely return!!

My husband and I stayed in the Marina side condo for four nights and it was the perfect vacation. We enjoyed the Malecon almost every night and took some fabulous day trips to surrounding beaches and towns. My wife and I stayed at the street side unit with our 2 small daughters. Rod went out of his way to make sure the place was comfortable for us. If you have any requests or needs, they will do what they can do accomodate you. We stayed there for almost 2 weeks and discovered this was the right amount of time. The place was very clean, better than described, and accomodated 2 adults and 2 children without any issues. The location to everything is amazing and the owners could not be better. Pricing is better than you can imagine. A very, very positive experience for my family! I only wish I had more room to say all the good things we want to. You will not be dissapointed.
