Moani Hanalei (Fragrant Breeze of Hanalei) is a spacious, elegant, three bedroom, two bathroom, custom home with luxury furnishings and linens, breath-taking views, incredibly private, compound-like landscaping and unparalleled location.
Your beautiful home away from home offers unparalleled amenities like spotted-gum hardwood floors, gourmet eat-in kitchen, plush, sophisticated furnishings from makers like Donghia and Sutherland Teak and elegant design pieces from our world travels.
We have one King, one Queen and one Full bed to accommodate up to 6 people. The master suite has an amazing, Japanese-style shower room and deep, soaking, jetted bath, walk-in closet and luxury linens.
Bedroom two has a full-sized bed (great for the kids) and bedroom three has a queen-sized bed--both share the second, large bathroom with custom fixtures, small soaking tub and stand-up shower.
Your stay also includes HDTV, Cable, WiFi, beach amenities (towels, beach chairs, cooler, umbrella and use of two beach bikes and surfboards) as well as use of our authentic tiki bar and adorable children's playhouse on our lushly landscaped grounds.

Having been pretty much everywhere in Hawaii, our favorite place remains Hanalei Bay at the north shore of Kauai. And within Hanalei, you cannot do better than this house which is on Weke road right opposite the pier. (Yes, that's where they were hanging out in The Descendants) It's a one minute walk to the ocean and one of the world's great surfing spots. It's also a one minute walk to the river where you can practice your stand-up paddling. The owner has as many boards as you can possibly use. Now to the house. It's a three bedroom, beautifully designed place with great outdoor spaces. The view of the mountain cliffs from the back lanai is just spectacular. You can judge the wave height from the front lanai. The master bedroom is huge, great bathroom. The other two bedrooms are a bit smaller but plenty of room for any couple. Kitchen is state of the art if you want to cook, but the owner can set you up with great Argentine chef if you like. Downstairs there is a kids playroom. Outside you will find a Tiki bar where you can light the torches and while the night away. Also great barbecuing apparatus including a rare Japanese Kamado (no not the dragon but an excellent ceramic slow cooker). All in all, when I come back to Hanalei, this is the place I want to stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This home is a treasure! A short walk to the pier, beach and beach park but miles away at the same time because of the location on the pond and set back off the road. The home is appointed beautifully, cool and comfortable. My family enjoyed our time there immensely and we are just sad we can't come back at Christmas as its only a summer availability. Very strongly recommended.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers.
