- Tinos is one of the most unspoiled island of Cyclades complex, preserving its cultural and natural heritage. Our newbuilt house is at the outskirts of the Triandaros village, that is considered as one of the most beautiful traditional villages of Tinos. It is situated 6 kms northeast of Tinos Port, the capital of the island, and 370 m above sea level, facing the Aegean Sea and the Cycladic Islands. The setting of the house combines the feeling and the atmosphere of a traditional tinian village with ample space, full privacy and car access. At the village there are two tavernas with local specialities, a bar-restaurant and a bakery. A network of old preserved walking roads is an ideal way to explore the island. The road network is in avery good condition for scenery drives. There are many magnificent beaches all over the island. The closest beach is at a distance of 2.5 km. The island of Tinos has almost 8000 inhabitants. Although there is no airport, it is very easily accessible. Tinos is 30 minutes away by sea from the international airport of Mykonos, or 2-4 hours ( depending on the boat type ) from the port of Rafina, the closest port to the Athens International Airport. Tinos is connected regularly with the main port of Athens (Piraeus) and with many other islands as well. ...moreless
