Whether you want to relax on the deck and watch the golfers on Jack Nicklaus's Turtle Point Golf Course, take a dip in our private heated swimming pool, or jump on your bike and be at the beach in five minutes... this is the place for you!
Turnberry is centrally located behind the private Vanderhorst Gate in the center of the Island. We are located off Flyaway Drive. Our home is parallel to the "Avenue of Oaks" bike trail that leads to
the Walker Cup Circle, which has beach access.
Our professionally decorated home features the best of details. The artwork of several Charleston artists are displayed throughout the second floor. From travertine and Brazilian Cherry flooring to beautiful custom cabinetry with granite counter tops, you will feel right at home!
The elevator will make your arrival so convenient.
Turnberry Lane is a Charleston-style home with wrap-around porches and decks located at the end of the street in a quiet cul-de-sac. Our new home has four bedrooms, each with its own bath and king-size bed, television, DVD and telephone. Turnberry has eight televisions, six DVD players and the family room offers a big screen plasma with stereo surround sound. You can even bring you IPOD, park it on the dock and enjoy all of your favorite tunes on the stereo surround sound.
After a relaxing morning at the beach, you and your family can bike back to Turnberry for lunch at a day at the private pool. Our pool has four fluffy cushioned extra long chaise lounge chairs. The pool is cleaned twice a week and the water temperature is maintained at 85-87 degrees. We have both a heat and cool pump for maximum enjoyment!
The well-stocked kitchen has every amenity for the gourmet chef. The kitchen features a Bosch dishwasher, Wolf gas cook top and Wolf electric roaster oven, refrigerator, microwave and a wine and beverage refrigerator. The dining table will comfortably seat ten and there are three bars stools. There is also a keeping room to sip coffee and enjoy your morning paper.

Turnberry was custom built and completed in February 2005. Since this is our third rental home on Kiawah since 1996, we have made changes to see that every need is met for you and your family. If you would like a family beach photograph, we can recommend a local resident of Kiawah who our family has used over the years.
Perhaps you need a baby bed or stroller, we can also make this happen. We have an arrangement with a local Island company that will deliver your discounted bicycles upon arrival. They can also set up your beach chairs and umbrellas upon request.
Other amenities include flatscreen plasma in the downstairs master bathroom and wireless Internet.
