Just bring your slippers
Just bring your slippers
One only need to bring your rod and waders, for everything needed is supplied. The completely furnished and decked out studio apartment has one of the best views of ever of the mountains surrounding Bozeman. Just raise your head from the pillow and get an instant view of the sunrise over the Bridger Mountains. Step out of bed and place your feet on the toasty radiant heated floors. In the ref ridge, you'll most likely find locally roasted coffee and fresh organic cream, graciously placed there by your host. The location is perfect for walking a few short blocks to all the downtown businesses and restaurants, the Ellen Theater, the Emerson Cultural Center, or any number of watering holes (bars). Additionally, Bozeman now has a plethora of fantastic bakeries. The challenge is to try them all and then land on your favorite. Speaking of landing, the fly fishing spots abound the area. You can drive a few miles to the nearest bridge over the East Gallatin and fish within the city or trek to the Yellowstone River a few miles beyond Livingston. You can hang your rod outside of the apartment on the hooks above the windows and hang your waders in the private greenhouse to dry over night. For skiing season, the Bridger Bowl ski area is a locals treasure and just 20 miles away. For big skiing, head to Big Sky one hours drive up the Gallatin Gateway. If arriving by air the apartment is just as you arrive into town and very easy to find. If traveling with a pet (or a kid) there are two city parks just blocks away with loads of room to run and roam. If you've driven in as I did you will find a conveniently located private parking spot off of the alley entrance. I spent three and one-half months in this property and can not wait to return again in the spring.

Great Accommodations in Bozeman
Great Accommodations in Bozeman
My wife and I spent 11 days at Cynthia and Peter's apartment this past summer. This was our first experience using VRBO and their place far exceeded our expectations. The apartment contains everything you could possibly need for a vacation stay, with more kitchen utensils than our home kitchen. The new washer and dryer was great and allows for less packing. The location is very close to downtown, so close that we never had to drive to have a meal or get a cup of coffee. The small "office" just off the bedroom was a great place for me to catch up with work. If you're a runner you have access to several miles of running paths and trails very close by. I just can't say enough about the apartment and Cynthia and Peter. I can't imagine staying anywhere else if traveling back to Bozeman.

We travel to Bozeman every summer and have stayed in vacation houses and a condo so this was our first experience in a loft apartment. It was perfect! The small space really lives LARGE because of the great use of all spaces. We cooked dinner most nights in the stocked kitchen and also enjoyed the short walk to Main Street's coffee shops and restaurants. It's a great neighborhood for walking with beautiful Montana architecture and parks nearby. We especially enjoyed the screened porch nook to drink coffee, read, and watch the sun come up each morning. Cynthia and Peter are great hosts and made our nearly month stay most enjoyable. We would definitely rent the Green Guest Loft again and highly recommend it for your Bozeman vacation!

This rental was beyond our expectations ! The loft is extremely comfortable and it offers every amenity one could think of. I was pleasantly surprised to find coffee, tea and all necessary spices for cooking. There was even shampoo and conditioner, so I didn't have to shop after a long drive from Idaho. The washer and dryer were an extra plus for me. The loft is within walking distance to town and the neighborhood is very quite. The owners are very helpful and available, without being intrusive. My husband and I felt so comfortable here, we did not want to leave. I will recommend this loft to my friends and I hope to be able to visit again. Thank you Cynthia, for making our time in Bozeman, a happy one.

We loved this place! It's the perfect combination of style, amenities and affordable price. Great location for anything Bozeman with or with without a car. So much better then any hotel in Bozeman (and we have stayed at several). This is definitely a place we would recommend to anyone and will return on our next trip!

This apartment is a gem!
This apartment is a gem!
I had the great pleasure of staying in this beautiful loft in early February. This was my first trip to Bozeman and I absolutely fell in love with the area, and staying in this well appointed apartment was a big reason why. Although I didn’t want to get out of the comfortable bed, the ski mountains were calling and my toes were happy when they hit the heated floor each morning. Being able to walk to downtown Bozeman and shop/eat/or rent skis (which I did), was a huge plus for me. The apartment layout is great, and being able to close the pocket doors to the bedroom gives someone a chance to sleep a little longer while others are watching TV or making a morning latte with the espresso machine. This apartment is a gem!

Year Purchased: 2012
About the owner: Peter and Cynthia moved from Boulder, Colorado to Bozeman, Montana seeking snowier pastures. The winter enthusiast couple sought a community where the skiing was closer while still offering the lively college town they loved. After some planning and rearranging their dream became a reality in December of 2012. Driving a U-Haul with all their worldly possessions, their three year old son, and thirteen year old dog, the family with the help of Cynthia's father made the day long drive to Montana. Arriving one day ahead of the closing on their new home all went off with a glitch. In just a few short months the family feels right at home in their new community. What's not to love about Bozeman?
Why the Owner Chose Bozeman:
Peter and Cynthia wanted to find a family friendly home that was in the heart of downtown Bozeman. They found the mountain views, and proximity to downtown Bozeman and to Bridger Bowl to be almost to good to be true. The building style of the home reminded the couple of homes in another mountain town close to their hearts, Crested Butte Colorado. The Green building construction and design made this property too good to pass up.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
5 Blocks to downtown Bozeman. 120 miles to Yellowstone National Park. Skiing - Bridger Bowl 15 miles, and Big Sky 45 miles away. Awesome nordic skiing - just past Bridger Bowl, Bohart Ranch. Owners are happy to share and make suggestions for grocery stores, restaurants, and travel tips.
