Family Vacation 2013
Family Vacation 2013
We had never stayed at a VRBO property before and I was a little nervous that we were the first renters for this property, not having any reviews read prior to our visit. We could not have been more pleasantly surprised! The cabin was fabulous and exceded our expectations. The property was secluded enough to give us the privacy we wanted, but close enough to area attractions for all our day trips. We visited Pikes Peak, Seven Falls, Cave of the winds, Garden of the Gods and the Dinosaur center, as well as Manitou Springs. The cabin was comfortable and gave us the opportunity to make meals at home when we chose. The four bedrooms and 2.5 baths were a life saver for our large family. Everyone loved the deck and the views at the cabin, we spent early mornings and evenings on the deck watching for wildlife. We saw deer on three separate occassions, as well as unique birds and rabbits. The game room was alot of fun for my children (ages 11,17,19,22) giving them alot to do in the evenings. We would recommend this property to anyone wishing to get away from it all and relax, we would definitely rent this property again we had a wonderful vacation.

About: We fell in love with the property the minute we walked in the door. We only regret that we live so far away that we are unable to go there more often. It is our escape to serenity and quiet – away from the hustle and bustle of our daily lives.
We love the mountains and the sound of the wind rustling through the trees and watching the remarkable colors of the sunset. Regardless of the season, this retreat is beautiful; in snow, in the fall, in the summer or spring. The changing seasons also bring changes in the wildlife we are apt to see. The bird spotting brings us joy year around.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
It’s quiet and isolation. The wooded 4 acres are secluded and give the feel of being far removed from city life.
