This home is perfect for families with young children & teenagers. This home has plenty of space when multiple families are staying, we found the kitchen was well equipped to fit all our cooking needs, the pool table and game system in basement was a great place for the kids to hang out downstairs while the adults had their time on the main level when we weren't out on the boat. The dock is located on a cove that has minimal boat traffic with a slow/no wake zone which made a great place for the kids to swim. You can do plenty of fishing right off the dock, here's an inside tip...crickets work best for fishing. There is a paved driveway to the dock, it is a bit steep and could be difficult for someone with bad knees but you can back a car down the driveway to drop off those who were unable to walk down which is what we did. Springs Dock is right around the corner from the cove providing you with all your boating needs and some great soft serve ice cream...There is Roosters Deli just outside the lcoation of the resort which has great meals and mid-week grocery necessities if you didn't want to drive the 30 minutes back into to town. OVERALL this is a great place to stay and we look foward to booking our plans for next year!
