World class Halibut and saltwater Salmon fishing, the world renowned Saltery Creek for freshwater salmon species, and dungeness crabbing are all within minutes of the “Kodiak Grizzly Den”. Also just a boat ride away is spectacular wildlife viewing of Kodiak Grizzly Bears, Seals, and Whales. You can boat in on your own personal watercraft or choose to fly in on an Andrews Airways charter. We can arrange Boat and Outdoor Equipment Rentals locally through 'Kodiak Kamps'.
The “Kodiak Grizzly Den” cabin is located in the secluded western arm of Ugak Bay 14 nautical miles by water from the launch at Pasagshak and 23 air miles from the city of Kodiak.

World class fishing including saltwater in Ugak Bay, and freshwater at the nearby Saltery creek are located within minutes. Wildlife abounds with the world famous Kodiak Grizzly Bear taking center stage. Additionally whales, seals, sea lions, sea otters, foxes and eagles are all just a boat ride away.
