Walk to the library, parks and to Lake Dora at sunset. Built in 1955, this inviting home has been lovingly brought up to date. The large bedroom offers a desk for your laptop or reading. In the living room, a generous window seat easily accomodates overnight guests or afternoon naps. Throughout, large windows and glass paneled doors fill interiors with natural light.
Brick paver area also includes a patio set which accommodates up to six people. A gas grill is also available for your culinary delights!

This cottage is adorable. Loved the decor. We found it to be clean and very comfortable. Including the bed, which is not always the case when you travel. The kitchen is well equiped. Plus a BBQ in back. Great water pressure in shower. A plesant walk to downtown, the lake or just the surrounding neiborhoods. We will certainly come back.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Charming little cottage in a great location; well furnished and just a couple of blocks from the downtown. Only drawback is limited off street parking but there is enough room for one smaller vehicle and you can park on the street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the property.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway.

The owner offered us this cottage as he we were trying to book another that had overlapped bookings for our dates.....we stayed 9 nights it was fantastic....had everything we wanted & was close enough to town centre so we could walk everywhere whilst is was still far enough away to be quiet....everything was perfect & in working order. We would definitely rent here again when we return to Mt Dora. Stayed twice now & this one was most definitely the better.....if we had stayed in Mt Dora more often I have no doubt that it would be the BESTRecommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This cottage is just perfect! Beautifully decorated, it's a very nice size, comfortable for several guests. Only one word I could use to describe the bed: delicious. I slept like a baby, it was so amazing. Very quiet street, and so close to downtown, we walked to town several evenings. The grill and patio set are perfect for al fresco dining. You will enjoy the well-appointed kitchen, and if you don't want to cook, there are so many restaurants in the area, just ring up for delivery. I was so comfortable in this cottage, I didn't want to leave. Owner was very helpful and friendly....you will enjoy your stay!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.
