Tile and bamboo floors, beautifully and comfortably furnished, 4 ensuite bedrooms/bathrooms (a private bathroom for each bedroom,) 3 of 4 bedrooms have ocean views, big lanai area, tropical breezes... This is the perfect home for your vacation. Has OCEANFRONT JACUZZI, and a PRIVATE POOL. You will not believe the amenities, all you need to make this the ultimate vacation home. Enjoy a beverage on your lanai with tropical breezes overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean. The owners are famous for their personal touches.
The kitchen abounds with spices, sauces, dry goods, great cookware, and lots of room. Just bring your favorite fresh food. Ultra quality stainless steel barbecue for cooking that fish you just caught. Exquisite master bedroom with lanai overlooking ocean. You will say WOW!!
Note: Mika 'Alua is in a residential neighborhood and to be good neighbors we do not rent the house for large parties. We do not allow more than a total of 12 people on the property at any one time - subject to loss of deposit.

High Season (July/August) -- add $15/night.
Cleaning Fee Based on # of Guests & Length of Stay // 12.419% Hawaii State Tax.
$500 Reservation/Security Deposit required to confirm. Refundable within 14 days
after departure. Full payment due 45 days before arrival.

Your beds were so comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen for fixing meals. We all grew up in Laguna Beach and would go to sleep each night to the sound of the waves. We had a chance to relive that memory at your home. Thank you too for the generous gift basket. We left Volcano Park later than we had wanted and ended up driving in the dark during a severe rain storm which was a bit nerve racking. We were so afraid we wouldn't find the house. "We had a wonderful time at Mika 'Alua this month. The home is front and center on an exciting and spectacular ocean view with the purest air in the world. It is large, beautifully decorated and very well equipped for all possible needs and activities. The snorkeling in lava tidepools just a few doors down the road, and swimming in nearby warm tidepools was outstanding. Hilo and the Puna area have more diversity and beauty to offer than most appreciate. We visited wonderful botanical gardens and beautiful parks, volcano national park and lava flows, coffee farms, interesting restaurants in Pahoa and Hilo, and a new and unique astronomy and cultural center at the University of Hawaii to mention just a few of the area attractions we experienced during out stay. Thank you Jamie for sharing your unique and beautiful home!"
