  Our family has thoroughly enjoyed renting this beautiful house the past two years, and we can't wait to get back for another week this spring. The kids especially love the pool and the easy beach access. Everything needed for a fabulous vacation is included.

  This was our second time staying at this home and it was as wonderful as the first visit. The home is spacious, comfortable and updated. Our family loves the pool and the five-minute walk to the beach. The homeowners have balanced a need for privacy with common areas for dining and playing games or just hanging out. Down side? Those pesky mosquitos find some of us no matter where we go! We also found a place that would supply crib, stroller and high chair for the six-month old. Babies Away worked with the rental company and had everything set up when we arrived.

  In June 2011our family of 6 adults and 4 children really enjoyed this home that lived up to the description on the web. Very clean: we never saw a bug inside. Comfortable bedrooms with plenty of bathrooms, excellently equipped kitchen with lots of pans and dishes. Separate room for washer (top loader-not HE), dryer and extra fridge which we used for drinks and space for storage. Gas grill worked well. Very up to date media stuff (we actually moved tvs out of children's rooms so they would sleep!). Wi Fi was great - we had 3 computers and phones and all worked great. There were toys even for children and a sand box. Pool was large and well maintained: a pool man came three times to clear leaves blown in by storm at night. Wonderful fast response to questions and repairs (the dryer vent got clogged and they cleaned it out same morning). They even had someone roll out the trash can for you. Adequate linens. The house is next to the nice path to beach which might be 200 yards away and part is a board walk. We walked down several times a day. We had a wagon we sometimes rolled down with tent and chairs and rented bikes to ride on the beach. Very quiet and lots of beach, especially at low tide. We enjoyed a guided fishing trip,(everyone caught fish which we ate), shopping and dining in Charleston, and one evening playing putt putt. We would stay again and recommend this home to others. Thanks to the owners for sharing their vacation home.

  Ssh...please keep this place a secret. The accommodations were perfect for our family - enough bathrooms for everyone, clean, comfortable and spacious family rooms and a well-equipped kitchen, a wonderful pool and the beach path runs right beside the house. Our two-year old granddaughter loved the 'yittle yizards' and enjoyed her first experience of the ocean. We'll be back.:)

  For our family vacation this year, we decided to rent a house to give us more room. We have a 3-bedroom condo at Wild Dunes but it is not large enough to accommodate our family (children, grandchildren, and 2 great-grands). We picked absolutely the most perfect home on the IOP. It had everything that you could possibly need. From having plenty of sleeping areas, spacious living area and kitchen, the marvelous large pool with a large deck just outside the door, all the pool toys you could possibly want, ping pong table, games - all the way to a kitchen completely stocked with everything you would need. The listing photos definitely truthfully reflected the appearance and amenties of the house - inside and outside. The owner of the home was very accommodating and very pleasant. We will definitely plan to rent this home again.

  Wow! This was our 3rd time vacationing at 54th Avenue #16 and we love it!! The house is spacious, clean, close to the beach and has a fabulous pool! The kids love going to the beach in the morning and then spending the hot afternoon in the pool! We would highly recommend this home!!

  this will be my third time staying at this house and i am very excited! i love that the house is very child friendly, the pool is right off the kithchen. the beach is a short walk away, and there are plenty of bedrooms to accomodate my very large family. it's a great gettaway i highly recommend!!!!!!!!!

  This will be our 3rd vacation at this home. We love that it is large enough for lots of people and that the pool is off the main living area. Very close to beach. The house really is a home away from home. We will go back again.

  This home is wonderful! We have rented this home before and plan on coming back. There are many features about the home that we personally liked: a large pool, a short stroll to the beach, enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accomadate a large family and the kitchen is steps away from the pool area. The house is stocked with many kitchen appliances that are useful for your visit so you don't have to worry about bringing things from home. We like the area in which the house is located and a great place to take your bikes. We will visit again. Thank you for a great time!
