We came up to the North Shore to renew our Wedding vows! This was a great little condo with a amazing view! Haleiwa (Hale- eva) is a great little surf town with a great little main street with food and shopping. Our Condo was right on the ocean with Puena Point in view. In the morning you could see the turtles right of the shore. Stu the property manager was great and was available when we called! If you ever need a photographer in Oahu, call Juan Oliphant, Best Hawaii Photography! He is great and our pictures were unbelievable!!! Really enjoyed this quaint little condo and town!

What a great place to stay in Haleiwa. The pictures depicted can be believed. This unit was so nice and our family of four felt at home here. We loved the beach and the atmosphere we were able to experience. Our girls loved playing in the sand, floating in the water, and observing the turtles up and down the beach. We are so glad we stayed on the North Shore. Everything we wanted to do was at our fingertips. My husband and I ran or walked every morning and enjoyed sunrises and rainbows as we did. We loved the view every time we entered the condo, walk in the door and see and hear the ocean. Our family enjoyed being in a small town around the people that are Haleiwa and 2 thumbs up for Matsamotos Shaved Ice. Very busy during the day but since we were so close we just waited until 5-5:30 and walked right in. I cooked almost every meal at the condo, we don't go out to eat much anyway but the market in town had what we needed. We whale watched, jet ski-ed, took in a luau, paddleboard, hiked, visited the Dole Plantation, and sunned ourselves on our little beach all from our condo in Haleiwa. I will recommend this little piece of paradise to family and friends. Thank you so much!

My wife and I travel to the islands a few times a year, and always stay in condos. We like to avoid the crowds at the hotels, and enjoy the "local" flavor. This is the first time we stayed in the North Shore of Oahu. There are not many condo projects in this quaint area, and we were very happy to find this unit. The condo bldg. itself is an older three story project, with two separate bldgs. This unit is in the front bldg, closest to the water (about 100 feet). The views from the unit are spectacular and the beach in front of the condo, and in the bay are not very crowded. The unit is very well appointed, and has been remodeled recently. We were very impressed with all of the nice "touches", flat screen tv, ipod stereo, very large dvd and book collection, every cooking item you would ever need, snorkeling equiptment, chairs, beach mats...just pack your clothes and show up to this place! Only complaint (and this is not this units issues) is the hoa should have better BBQ's. We went up going out to dinner every night, as there are many great restaurants only minutes away, so this was not an issue. I would definetly return!

Nice new kitchen, comfortable bed. Stayed a month and did a lot of cooking. Enjoyed the area and exploring. Turtles were all over the beach, one day saw 10 at one time. Winter storms were fun to experience on the ocean, watched the weather come in fast. Todd the property mgr. was very helpful and a good resource. Was just what we expected it to be would be, a little small for more than two people. The waves were the best reason to be on the Northshore...

It was a relaxing stay. Enjoyed the view. Saw turtles everyday. The condo was nice, but the kitchen pictures are different than how it actually is. Also it is has cement walls and dated furniture and no tv in the bedroom. There are two large complexes with many of the condos occupied by families that live there. It wasn't quite as secluded as I thought it would be. It was worth the price and it was much nicer staying in Haleewa than Honolulu. We had a great time, just didn't meet my expectations based on everything I read about the condo.
Owner response:We thank you for your review and appreciate the comments and concerns of our guest we really try to make sure our guest are happy with there stay on the beautiful North Shore. It was so nice to know you found most of the keys to this hidden jewel while staying with us. We know that because you mentioned that you had a great time and also it was a relaxing stay and we all will agree with you those are certainly keys to a great vacation. We thank you for noticing the improvements we have made since your departure in September, your correct the kitchen pictures are different from your stay, you see since that time period we have completed a full remodeled in the kitchen and surrounding area and as you noticed from the pictures when you made this review in November. You voiced a common statement (its worth the price) and they often add not only worth the price and here you get a full condo on the beach so better than staying in Honolulu or Waikiki. So now when guest like yourself arrive to the condo it will be even more beautiful, open and brighter, as you see from the pictures we constantly are making improvements even with the cement walls that are painted and really not a factor while gazing at the outstanding beach and ocean views and enjoying the other amenities provided. Please understand having the large flat screen in the living room and the video library we never considered that a TV was a viable option in the bedroom. However we do value your comments and appreciate your thoughts concerning a TV in the bedroom and will take that under strong consideration. Concerning the costly antique island style furniture we hope you understand that is part of the original goal of providing our guest with a unique experience of old Hawaii, genuine island ambience yet with the modern convenience of Wi-Fi, flat screen TV and remodeled kitchens and bathrooms. Thanks to guest like you we will continue to improve and provide our guest with outstanding opportunities to enjoy, relax on the beautiful North Shore. We are excited that we were able to assist you with a vacation that fulfilled most of your expectations such as seeing sea turtles everyday something few people in the world ever experience a relaxing stay, a great time and a beautiful condo and thank you for 4 stars out of 5 we hope to change your mind during your next visit and receive 5 stars like are other reviews. Aloha

This is our 12th vacation in Hawaii, and the second time on Oahu. From now on, it's the North Shore and the Hale'iwa Surf all the way! The condo was clean and well-maintained, and exactly as described. Manager Todd is ever so helpful, the location is ideal, the view and sunsets from our lanai spectacular. The beach is excellent for swimming, and Bruce snorkeled out over the reef daily to watch the sea turtles munching on the limu. Nearby are Shark's Cove, the best snorkeling place on the island, and of course Waimea Bay. Our favorite eating place was actually one of the colorful food trucks, this one called the "Honu Cafe" between Sunset and the condo. You can't miss it: Two giant carved sea turtles strapped to the fence and truck... The owners will grill you up a huge plate of steak and freshly caught ahi with all the fixin's - Yum! But my favorite activity was to walk hand in hand along the uncrowded beach in the soft sand and warm breezes at sunset. Ah romance! What a perfect vacation! Thank you Karen and Kip, and we'll be back.

Very quiet place with perfect beach for snorkling or swimming. Just a stone's throw from a park and walking distance to Haleiwa Town and the BEST Whale watching boat we'd ever been on. Took the Catamaran from the Harbor and ate at great restaruants, really had everything we wanted or needed. You could see the whales jumping way out and a turtle came onshore on our beach. It was unbelieveably wonderful. Plenty of room, clean, and laundry very convenient. Best trip yet, and I've been at least 5 times. Son is in the Army. Would stay here again and again and again ... perfect!!

We stayed here in January 2010 for our winter vacation and hope to return. We stayed 18 days here after spending 3 days other place. Haleiwa town!! nice place. The beach is nice, clean and the residents are friendly. The condos (area) are well kept and we felt safe and we relax a lot. The condo was quiet, clean, comfortable and the location$$ affordable. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed. Perfect for a couple (like us) to enjoy good winter vacation! Haleiwa,Oahu's North Shore. We hope to come back again!!

WONDERFUL!! We stayed here in February 2009 for our honeymoon and hope to return. We stayed four days here after spending 3 days in Waikiki at the luxurious Mariott...after just one day at the condo we decided we should have spent the whole week in Haleiwa town!! Great location. The beach is nice and clean and the residents are friendly. The condos are well kept and we felt safe and relaxed. We enjoyed the informal nightly happy hour with the residents and other guests on the beach. The condo was quiet, clean, comfortable and the location can't be beat. The condo was well stocked with beach accessories and really had everything we needed. Best value we could find. Perfect for a couple or two couples to enjoy the more relaxing atmosphere and experience to be had on Oahu's North Shore. We hope to come back again!! MAHALO!

My husband and I were very happy with the accommodations. The unit was clean and had plenty of room. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare meals. There was even a little cooler so we could take our refreshments down to the beach. We saw sea turtles, surfers, and locals fishing the ocean. This was the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in years. We’ll be back. Thanks Stu and Deb.”

Everything was amazing. Coming from a cold climate I was worried about not having air conditioning. The ample window vents as well as a multitude of fans calmed my fears. The condo was extremely clean and the neightbors were extremely kind. We couldn't have asked for a nice condo, beach or town to spend our anniversary.

We had the best time there. The condo was very clean, homey, and contained everything we needed for a pleasant stay. There were lots of videos, games, and books for us to read and the location couldn't have been more perfect for a little R and R. The beach was amazing, secluded, quiet, and just footsteps away. It was a great place to wake up to every morning. I will come back!

We had the great pleasure of being a guest in condo #505 and I loved it! I loved that it was right on the beach and I could go snorkeling and see and play with the turtles every day, relax on the beach and read. Go take a shower and walk to town to get something to eat. The atmosphere is very relaxing, and the furnishings were great, everything you could want or need. Lovely place! Can't wait to go this year in August! Thanks so much!
Owner response:(This renter is a return renter who we welcome often, sometimes with a friend).

My wife and I spent our 25th wedding anniversary here in March 07 and it was wonderful we could not have asked for more and we travel quite often. The condo is perfect it had everything we needed and more, beach towels/beach chairs and even coolers and what a great breeze coming off the ocean and oh the sunsets every night were unreal. We went on a 7 day cruise around the islands on Pride of Hawaii after staying at the condo we wish we booked the entire stay at the condo it was so relaxing and so close to beautiful Haleiwa. We will be back, Dewayne and Denise

My wife and I just spent eight days at the end of October '06 at this property and could not have been more thrilled. I loved the keyless entry that allowed us to not worry about losing the key when we were on the beach. The beach was fantastic as we lost count of how many turtles we saw. I will never forget the massive one I came face to face with while snorkeling right out the back door of the condo. I am not sure who was more scared! Seriously, we want to go back as soon as possible. We have a daughter whose husband is stationed up the road at Schofield and this was a perfect location to stay at to see them and our new grandson. In fact the balcony of this unit was Jackson's first exposure to the ocean. We can not wait to get back and get his feet in the sea. Everything we needed was in this unit. It is right on the beach which is a plus. It is fully furnished with everything you could think of. Our only negative was the front bedroom was a bit bright due to the lights on the landing. We fixed that by folding out the sofa and sleeping to the sound of the ocean! We hope to have many more such nights in the next few years.
Owner response:Thanks for the update on the lights in the hall way coming into the bedroom, to correct the problem we have installed room darking curtains. So sleep tight all in the bedroom or enjoy the sofa sleeper and the sounds of the Ocean.

My husband, toddler son and I stayed at the condo in August 2010. We couldn't have been happier. The condo was perfect for our needs. The two bathrooms were so convenient, the condo came equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing "local" experience on the amazing north shore. We loved the location and cooking breakfast and dinner was a joy, with the sweeping ocean views and complete kitchen with everything you need. We were so happy to find plenty of towels, snorkel equipment, DVDs, fans, and cozy atmosphere. It was great to have coin laundry on site too. Perfect place to bring a family. No crowds, and the BBQ grill was so fun to cook dinner on...especially with the light from the tiki torches. Great coral reef right out front!!! We watched the turtles everyday and would highly recommend this experience to anyone wanting a chilled out, Hawaiian experience away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.
