This Lake Junaluska house and apartment is just the right fit for a family or friends wanting to stay in the mountains but not wanting to stay on the side of a mountain. You will have a year around view of the mountains and the lake from the deck and the two sun rooms.
The house is sits in an almost perfect location. Only five minutes to I-40 which makes the trek to Asheville or a drive to picnic in the Blue Ridge or Smoky Mountain Parkways very easy. Only five minutes to beautiful downtown Waynesville or Maggie Valley. Located one block from walking trail around the lake which makes for a relaxing morning hike or an easy walk to any of the Conference activities.
The house is cozy yet with all the windows you get to feel and see the beauty of the mountains and lake. The two sun rooms one off the kitchen and the other in the master bedroom give you a chance to catch up on that book or just relax. The living room features a wood burning fireplace and a large couch to watch a movie.
The kitchen has top of the line stainless steel appliances and with a large island and bar stools will make entertaining easy and any cook feel like a 'Top Chef'.
The apartment located on the lower level with a private entrance and driveway. There is deck to sit out and enjoy the view of the mountains and lake. The apartment features a large rooms and can sleep up to four. There is a king bed and a pull out couch. There is master bath and a half bath for your guest.
The house and apartment can be rented separately or together if you need the room or want to keep the annoying relative out of sight.

We just spent 5 days in this lovely home. The property was very well maintained with everything you could possibly need. The home is on a quiet street a block from the lake. It was very roomy and the kitchen is fantastic. There are plenty of windows which allow for beautiful views of the lake and the mountains. The back porch was so relaxing with the gliders, you could almost spend your entire time out there. The owner was fantastic to work with and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation. My only regret is we didn't get to spend more time there. We are already planning our return trip. I would highly recommend this property to my friends or family. You will not be disappointed!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
