Photo 1 - Big Lake, AK - Alaska Vacation Cabin Rental Our chalet overlooks Jade Lake, and is only about one and a half miles from Big Lake. You can enjoy all the activity at Big Lake and then retire to quiet and secluded Jade Lake for some true relaxation. We are located about 18 miles from Wasilla and only about 60 miles from Anchorage International Airport. This modern housekeeping cabin is a spacious 880 square foot and easily sleeps up to six persons. The master bedroom has a queen bed, plus television and DVD/VCR player. The loft has two full size beds and overlooks the living room for a gorgeous view of the lake. There is another TV DVD/VCR unit in the living room as well as a Stereo CD/Cassette player. A large front deck with a gorgeous view adds many hours of enjoyment. The chalet is close to all the amenities, yet has a secluded private feel for that unique getaway experience.
