'Sandy Key' is a spacious 4 Bedroom, 2 Bath Beach House that sits Beach Front in the highly desired Swan Lake subdivision in Surfside Beach, Texas.
Swan Lake is a small subdivision that is located away from the crowds and is known for its family friendly atmosphere, quiet beach and laid back charm. The beach that Sandy Key sits on is one of the quietest areas in Surfside Beach with plenty of sand to spread out and some of the best shelling in the area.
Sandy Key has 4 spacious bedrooms that are laid out to give you and your guest the most amount of options when assigning bedrooms.
The Living, Dining and Kitchen are all open concept and give you and your guest all the room you need to spread out and enjoy the house. In the dining room you will find 2 dining room tables which is great if you need more room or maybe you want to start a puzzle on one and have the other one for eating. The kitchen is fully stocked with all basic Pots, Pans, Dishes, Utensils...however, we always recommend you bring whatever it is that you can't cook without! Maybe you are a Chef and have to have your knife set or a Grandma who plans on making her famous cookies with her special cookie sheet.
The porch has to be one of the best features of Sandy Key. It is a beautiful covered deck with unobstructed views of the beach and water. You will also really enjoy the private walk-over located just down stairs from the house. No more worrying about the kids running back and fourth from the house and beach....you know they will be safe while staying within your eye sight.
Sandy Key is a well maintained home that has been loved and enjoyed for many years. We know you will enjoy it as much as we have and everyone else who has every stayed here. I wasn't impressed at all by this place. When we first arrived, it had already started looking bad. Drainage is a problem in the driveway. The patio chairs were either cheap, old or broken. Light switches were cracked. Toilet paper handles weren't secure. This house could use a really good scrub down as there was dirt and scum throughout cracks of the bathroom. Not to mention, the AC wasn't working when we arrived. Owners need to invest some care in this house as it is sorely needed. On the plus, it was definitely spacious and close to the beach. Unfortunately, that didn't makeup for the condition of the house. This house did not live up to the promises and would likely never rent this place again.

We chose to purchase Sandy Key for its Beach Front location and the real sense of community that Swan Lake has even with the renters. Surfside Beach is a hidden Gem that is still within driving distance of the major tourist attractions that Galveston and Houston have to offer. Yet at the end of the day there is nothing better than escaping all the crowds and retreating back to the deck of Sandy Key and enjoying the Sunset over the Bays. It is paradise.
