First of all I have to thank Craig and Lori for all of their help and advice on our trip, and for this wonderful condo. It was all we could have asked for, the view is amazing, not a day went by when we didnt see a whale from our balcony, the rooftop deck is perfect for sunbathing. The condo itself is very spacious for two and the king bed very comfy! This was my third trip to Cabo and when i make my fourth this is where i will stay!

Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

Relaxing unit in a beautiful setting

My husband and I just stayed here for a week for a romantic birthday getaway and it was perfect, except that it was so relaxing and peaceful we largely ditched our plans to partake in all the available Cabo activities. The unit is very comfortable and just the right size for two. We enjoyed the ocean breezes while inside and really enjoyed sitting on the patio or the rooftop terrace and watching for whales or just taking in the sound and beauty of the surf. Terrasol is in a perfect location, with beautiful beach and a short walk to the marina and hundreds of restaurant options, yet the complex itself is probably the most peaceful in the area. Craig the owner of this unit was very responsive to all my many questions and very easy to work with. Note that to get access to wireless Internet here you have to cross the small parking lot to the clubhouse, but since this actually reduced the amount of time we spent checking messages from work it was ok for us. This was our first trip to Cabo and we are planning to return; it has so much to offer. Stay at Terrasol, enjoy having the pool and the palapa bar almost to yourself during the day and head to town or the Playa Grande next door if you want the bustle of lots of other tourists in the evening. (Check out the forums on tripadvisor.com, especially the Cabo forums, for answers to every imaginable question about Cabo, car rentals, activity, money,and all the fabulous restaurants.) Also, renting from an owner through VRBO can save a lot of the hidden fees and taxes of hotel stays in Cabo.

Everything You Want in Cabo!

Well, we just got back home from an incredible Cabo-visit .......... we could not get into the condo for a week [they were booked], so the owners [now friends] who have a spectacular B&B in Cabo as well, suggested we split the vacation - spending the first few days in their unit at their condo, then end off our stay at their B&B. It is hard to imagine a nicer unit. It has a spectacularly large first floor Deck, which wraps from the spacious bedroom with king bed & wonderful vaulted ceilings - to the living room - dining room, kitchen and bar area, but that's just the beginning. Take the stairs from their entrance hall up to their Roof-Deck - and you have a panoramic view of all that Lands' end offers - we even see the first whales of the season from the decks as they passed Terrasol, and watched the fishing boats leaving the marina while sipping coffee in the early am !! They apparantly are the only owners with a roof deck, it's private and great, we slept on the roof [under the stars] one evening !! We love Cabo and are already planning to return .............

INCREDIBLE CONDO in A UNIQUE PROPERTY !!

I recently returned from a vacation in Cabo ..................... and it was "made" by the location of Terrasol, and by this unit - I was there for two weeks, actually met a lot of renters when I was down there, and we hung out together, in each others units. I can honestly say that the consensus was that this unit [which has obviously recently gone through a complete overhaul, fresh paint, new wood etc.], was the clear favorite of all of "us renters" - I stayed here 5 years ago, and the new tiles on the Roof Deck, upgraded furniture, bed etc., were all a pleasant addition and a plus - but "the bones" of this condo - are unbeatable !! I'll be back ............. for a 3rd time !!

Spectacular View - Mediocre Condo - Stayed in Better

I've been meaning to write a review for some time now, but have never had to post a negative comment about a vrbo rental in Cabo, so I've been hesitating. My husband and I stayed in this unit March 20 - 29, 2011. The view and patio were great, the pools were great, the complex is quiet and well maintained, the food at the restaurant by the pool was great, and the walk to the Marina was less than five minutes. However, this unit definitely needs some TLC. Even the rooftop deck couldn't make up for the state of disrepair. My husband and I own a handyman business, so thought we'd do the owner and next guests a favour, and went into town to a hardware store to see if we could get some bits and pieces to repair some of the smaller things. But the cost was adding up so instead we left the owner a list of the things that needed fixing. Never heard back with a thank you, or if anything was repaired...disappointing We visit Cabo twice a year, and will try to find another condo in the same complex, but won't stay in this unit.

Owner response:Appreciate this renters comments. Normally, if our Terrasol-renters have a problem, they simply call us, we own and operate a very prestigious B&B INN in Cabo, 5 minutes away, renters always know we live here [it's covered off frequently in the rental-communications] - Terrasol Front Desk knows how to get us, we jump into action, either do the maintenance on the spot, or get Terrasol Maintenance to remedy the situation. I've checked a Complaints Log at Terrasol, my phone logs at our Villa & have searched for this clients e-mails, no communication whatsoever during their March 20-27 visit.It is difficult to respond to something you do not know about ??!! They did leave us a "Comments Card" - at the Front Desk, suggesting we fix 4 items they brought up.Why they never called or e-mailed us when they were here, I don't know. We'd invited them to come up to our B&B Villa for [FREE] sunset drinks [when they made the reservation], never heard from them ?? Suffice it to say, in mid-April, when we had a vacancy, we fixed all of these items, and did a complete overhaul of a number of other things as well. It is interesting that these renters said on the Comments Card that, and as I keep these items, I quote "We really enjoyed your condo, location great, views fantastic, front row seat to the whales - despite the fix-ups we came across, we WILL recommend your condo and WILL stay in it again" .... something must've changed between when they left the condo 5 months ago and today, when they posted this review ?? I guess they are upset I never thanked them, in that regard, they are correct, I should have, we had a terribly busy high-season, we own a Rental, Real Estate & our INN-Business - but we did fix everything they brought up and then some !! We have the finest decks [for viewing] of any condo at Terrasol,- the only [private] Roof-Deck in the complex, 360-degree views. We are near fully-booked, year after year - because we get so many [happy] repeat clients - because we have one of the finest condos at Terrasol, with breathtaking views, and, being a CPA, MBA - I am pretty organised, we ALWAYS respond to clients calls when we actually know there is a problem !! If these renters have a "change in heart", and correct inaccuracies, contact us, for a night FREE on your next trip !!

Outstanding view and location however the unit itself is badly in need of renovation/upgrading. If you are expecting, as we were, a " luxury " condo you will be disappointed. The complex is well maintained, the pools very nice and the beach is beautiful for walking - DO NOT SWIM. Whale watching was outstanding from both the patio and the beach. We would return to Cabo and this complex BUT not this unit.

Recommended for:Tourists without a car.

Beautiful location

We just left Terrasol and had a wonderful time. The staff at Terrasol were so nice and very accomodating. They all spoke English and made arrangements for all of our many outings. They made excellent suggestions for dinner and excursions. We sat on the deck for happy hour and watched whales everyday. Just about everything we wanted to do or see was within walking distance. We got plenty of exercise! The only downside were the vendors in the marina - very annoying. Craig and Lori were easy to work with and also very accomodating. It is a beautfiul place to sit and relax and take in the beauty of Cabo. It was a wonderful vacation.

Craig & Lori: We had a great week here !! It's sooooooo pretty. My brother, cousin, parents and I had a lot of fun just chilling out. The roof was great and the stars amazing ! The pools were like "out of a movie" !!! Paradise and wow, the scenery !! So different and beautiful. My brother really enjoyed playing ping-pong with Juan, who, like all the others ... were so very helpful around here. Unfortunately my dad has told to me to go pack up the car ... thank you so much for letting our family share your home. Abrand58 aol. com
