All of our homes are located on the one site and are named after one of the Finger Lakes. Combined the properties can sleep up to 52 people making it an ideal location for outdoor wedding receptions, re-unions, family vacations, religious retreats, seminars, small conferences, parties and meetings.

The woodlands at Cobtree offer a number of walking trails accessible throughout the year. In winter they are ideal for guests who bring their own skis for cross country skiing . Each of the cottages at Cobtree are named after one of the Finger Lakes and have over 1464 sq ft of living area in our brick built homes, 1500 sq ft in our log homes , and our log cabins 900 sq ft of living area.
All are fully equipped and have a washing machine, tumble drier, free U.S and Canada wide digital telephone service,WI-FI and Cable Television . Our rates also include linen, sheets and towels and there are no additional cleaning fees payable on departure.

We are located just 6 miles South of the City of Geneva on Route 14 South heading towards Watkins Glen "Cobtree" offers Deluxe Self Catering Family accommodation for visitors to the Finger Lakes Region of New York State.
A short drive takes you down to the shores of Seneca Lake or Roy's Marina where you can participate in a multitude of activities from swimming, sailing, jet skiing, fishing, golf, restaurants, wineries or even a visit to one of the State Parks.

The Finger Lakes offered an amazing investment in upstate New York with the regions economic and tourism growth being phenomenal year on year. It is also a stunningly beautiful place in which to live and work and the climate has a full four seasons and relatively temperate over the winter months. Waking up each day to this beauty and to be able to market this area to our many lucky guests from around the world is very rewarding in itself.

Waking up each morning and looking out over Seneca Lake to the East and looking out over the farmlands and woodlands that surround us to the North South and West is exhilarating. The beauty of the sun rise and sunset as well as the abundance of wildlife that can been seen around the area never ceases to amaze me. The quite, peacefulness of Cobtree a joyful experience as well as being so near to many local wineries, fine restaurants, museums, antique hunting, skiing in winter and other local attractions throughout the year.

This was our second time staying at the cabin. The photos and descriptions on the website are completely accurate. The property was clean,with a fully stocked kitchen.Free Wi Fi and free use of the land line phone was very useful considering that cellphone reception was spotty at best. A washer and dryer in the cabin made life ALOT easier! Besides all the wineries nearby, our family was able to enjoy hiking to waterfalls, biking on lake trails, kayaking,horseback riding, and blueberry picking! The owners Robert and Jane live on the property and are a wealth of information. As a whole,the entire stay was very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

I believe that our rates whilst not being the cheapest rates available for a rental property in this region, I do believe that our rates offer very good value for money because our base rates do include 7.5% sales tax, free WIFI, cable TV with over 800 channels to choose from, free USA and Canada wide telephone calls, Air-Conditioning, no additional cleaning fees payable on check out, no commissions or booking fees, no security deposits, free trash removal and recycling, campfire areas with wood available to burn, a fully equipped deluxe home with everything you need as well as a propane gas BBQ unit with free gas refills. No, we may not be the cheapest place to stay in the Finger Lakes region but based on the many online reviews we have been fortunate to receive from our many guests, we believe we are the best place to stay when you visit the Finger Lakes! What a wonderful weekend stay at Cobtree Vacation Rental Resort. Greeted by the rich smell of cedar, our log cabin quickly became home with the comfortable furniture and luxurious linens. The beds gave us all great night’s sleep and everything we needed for a great weekend away was ideally placed throughout the home. If I had to choose a favorite part, it would be the great front porch for it’s comfortable furniture and great views. We plan on coming back to Lake Geneva for many years and plan on staying at Robert and Jane’s Cobtree homes for each and every year.
Owner response:The beds at Cobtree are renowned for giving our guests a good nights sleep particularly the beds in our log cabins. Night time is also a great time at Cobtree as being out in the countryside and with very little ambient light, the night sky is simply stunning and if you have an IPhone4 there is a neat little AP that you can download (using our free WIFI on site of course) that you can use to locate all the stars and planets by name and see the galaxies. Sitting out under the porch of one of our log cabins is such a joyful experience together with friends drinking for example, a locally produced wine or a beer from one of the many local micro breweries located in the Finger Lakes. We welcome you to stay at Cobtree - The real Finger Lakes Experience!

June 6 – 13 2011 My husband Dennis and I vacationed at Honeoye Cabin and were completelty delighted with the accomodations! The view from our front porch of Seneca Lake was beautiful! The owners of Cobtree welcomed us on arrival and Robert was a delightful chap! We look forward to our return to the Finger Lakes and our next stay at Cobtree!

We enjoyed a midweek getaway at one of Cobtree's amazing log cabin homes. The cabin far exceeded our expectations. It was cozy, warm, clean, well equipped and very inviting. A large front porch with comfortable chairs and a table was perfect for relaxing any time of day. The cabin itself was beautifully constructed with massive beams and an open staircase. We would recommend this cabin for couples, wine lovers and families. Finally, the cabin overlooks Seneca Lake and there is an abundance of activities in the area. But... you won't want to leave the cabin!

What a great place. Our family rented three houses which were even nicer than expected. Beautiful interior, excellent amenities for the bedrooms, kitchen as well as the babies. We had nine children ages eight months to eleven years. Plenty of room for the kids to play. Excellent view of Seneca Lake. Easy access to stores and attractions. I would recommend these properties to everyone.

We have just returned from our third visit to Cobtree. It was an unseasonably cold and somewhat rainy week, but we loved returning to our lovely, warm cottage after a day of meandering and wine tasting. The setting is exquisite and the location is very convenient to good restaurants and lots of wineries. You really don’t have to bring a thing. It is the most most well-equipped place we have ever stayed. And our dog loves running the fields!
