Watch the sunset from your private hot tub on the deck of this luxury fifth floor condo at Misiones del Cabo resort. This Condo is located in the newest, most modern building in the Misiones resort with the view directly overlooking Cabo bay and the magnificent view of the Arch and Lands End. The quality furnishings are in excellent condition and provide for a comfortable stay.
The Condo is two separate areas, bedroom and living/kitchen area, providing privacy for additional guests on the comfortable sleeper sofa in the living room. The large bathroom has access from both areas and the large deck opens to both areas. A complete kitchen with marble countertops is fully equipped for any in-house meals. Filtered water is supplied at the kitchen sink. The large deck offers a spectacular setting for leisurely meals or sitting in the hot tub viewing the evening sunsets. A propane Weber grill is on the deck for your use. A complete entertainment center with flat screen LCD TV with satellite TV service, DVD, and CD in the living area and a TV for watching movies in the bedroom are available for your use. We provide some DVD's and CD's for your use. Wireless internet is available on deck.
Misiones is on the cliffs where visitors come to see the famous Arch view at Land's End. On either side of the resort are beaches, a surfing beach to the west side and a secluded beach along a small natural cove ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing (and no vendors!) to the east side. There are two large pools with drinks and food at the pools with swim-up bars. There are also two tennis courts for your enjoyment. There is one restaurant next to the resort, the Sunset da Mona Lisa, one of the finer restaurants in all Cabo with it's spectacular terraces for watching sunsets before having your evening meal. There are several other restaurants nearby also offering very good dining. There is a reception desk that can assist with arrangements for other activities available in the Cabo area. There is a small mini-market on the grounds. Misiones offers a great place to spend your vacation out of the hustle and bustle of the crowded beaches and city streets, but only a short drive to all the activities in town.

In a word...the view...it is simply awesome as my daughter would say. It is an unbelievable view of the town, bay, and the lands end with the arch clearly visible.

Past reviews complained of construction, but the work has ceased. The Condo had everything one would need and more. Very clean and modern. The patio with BBQ really made this fantastic too. It was quiet too. If the party scene is your thing, try somewhere else. Mellow setting with excellent beaches for snorkeling, which is amazing. Don't buy a snorkeling tour, it's at your doorstep for free. Staff was overly helpful and facilities were guarded, but not annoying. Beyond this, Cabo San Lucas was way better than border cities. No cops to hussle you and no one was suspicious, can't wait to get back and stay at Misiones again, no doubt!!!!
Recommended for:Pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

This review is for my experience with property management and the Los Misiones resort itself. Due to circumstances beyond the owner's control, we were unable to stay in this listed property. However, they were able to relocate us within the same resort without problems. The owners were quick to accommodate us and gave us several options to choose from. About the location - The resort is very nice and is a great location just outside of Cabo. We were not much into the hustle and bustle of downtown Cabo so being able to get away and watch the ocean was perfect, although we did drive into town several days to eat tacos for lunch. Also, there are plenty of grocery stores near by to stock up the kitchen and cook. We grilled seafood almost every night. The pools and grounds were well maintained and staff were very pleasant to deal with. It is a simple drive from the Los Cabos airport to get there. I would recommend getting a rental car as there are limited options on the resort property itself. I recommend this resort for a simple beach getaway which was exactly what we were looking for.
Owner response:We appreciate the review...the problems are related to some financial problems of the developer but we hope to have the situation resolved before too long. In the meantime, we will continue to assist our guests in finding equal accommodations.

We had a fabulous, relaxing time and were able to re-charge and just enjoy our anniversary. The condo provided the perfect get away and setting in Cabo for us to do exactly what we wanted to do.......unplug! The views of Lands End and The Arch were breathtaking and laying out by the infinity pool watching the surfers was wonderful! We were also happy to meet Ray & Jan, which was an unexpected and pleasant surprise! A bonus to what was already a perfect trip. The staff at Reception were very friendly and helped us with our excursions, from soup to nuts, including transportation since we elected not to rent a car. Thanks again! We loved everything!

This condo more than lived up to expectations. It was spacious and light, and very comfortable. We were amazed to see spectacular views of the ocean and the bay from the large patio. The condo was spotlessly clean and well furnished, the bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped, with purified water from a separate tap. There were 2 delightful pools on the property. The beautiful beach was a short walk down a flight of steps. The condo was within easy walking distance to 2 excellent restaurants. The patio had a BBQ, Jacuzzi and comfortable outdoor furniture. We would definitely recommend this condo to a friend or relative. The owners were extremely kind and helpful.

Luxurious yet comfortable. The view is amazing and the unit is clean and well maintained but what make this place special is the owners. You'll never meet sweeter more accommodating folks anywhere. I am almost tempted to give a bad review so it remains available when we can get down there but that just wouldn't be right. I'm recommending this place to an employee for her honeymoon and I know they'll have a great time.
