We have been staying in Ekolu for 25 years. This unit is one of the best. The photographs and description are an accurate representation. Awesome remodeling: from the granite kitchen with new appliances to the high beamed ceiling covered with wood. This is the only Ekolu unit we know of that has wood ceilings. It adds so much to the ambiance -- very Hawaiian. The owner has thoughtfully provided any amenities (beach chairs etc) one could want. Even coolers. Oh. Did I mention the view? It's spectacular. With the lavish interior and the awesome view some days we didn't want to leave to go to the beach.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.

We loved out stay here! The condo is absolutely lovely, beautifully decorated and maintained, and the views are gorgeous. Kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, pots, pans etc. Every morning and night we enjoyed dining on the lanai looking out over the golf course to the ocean beyond. Very peaceful and easy access to lovely Wailea beaches. Owner has provided numerous amenities like beach chairs, umbrellas, lots of towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear and (surprisingly!) everything you need for your own personal martini bar (yes we enjoyed that!). We look forward to staying here again.
