What a fabulous experience-from the friendly and helpful communication with the owners to the beautiful home itself. The photos are accurate but hardly reveal the functionality of the layout or the design elements that are so carefully chosen. The house was immaculately clean and well maintained. To say that you are close to the heart of Lake Tahoe and its surroundings would be putting it mildly. Beautiful trails for hiking are walking distance from the house and just a few blocks away are wonderful places the locals go to eat and enjoy time off the slopes. No snow while we were there but my family was together for Christmas and the setting could not have more perfect. I would highly recommend this property to anyone at any time of the year.

We spent a week here this summer and had a great time. The house is located in a woodsy neighborhood with a very comfortable feel. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking big meals, and there were lots of extra linens and towels. The electronics set-up impressed my husband and our teenage nephew. You're minutes away from Northstar resort. We hiked from the Village at Northstar to Sawmill Lake and felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves. There are no mountain bikers on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The house hot tub has amazing jets that massaged away our tired hiking, biking, and swimming muscles. There are jets for your feet and a corner seat with 8-10 (or more) jets that literally get your entire back! Kings Beach is minutes away. We took our kayaks and paddle board to the public beach across the street from Safeway. It has parking, a small sandy beach and grassy area to relax, and easy access to the lake - without all the crowds and jet ski noise. This house gives you amazing amenities in a beautiful location, and all for a really reasonable price.

We just completed a 3 night stay at this wonderful home. This rental is close to skiing, snow parks, and the lake. The house is nicely appointed and has all of the comforts of home. The recent addition of Apple TV and the Netflix was really a plus for our grandson. The owners were wonderful to work with and are very organized and responsive to requests. Our entire family really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely plan on returning to this beautiful home.

Just spent one week at your beautiful home. Everything was perfect. Traveling with a total of 6 people. There was enough privacy for everyone. It has the quality and amenities of a high class hotel. Centrally located to everything of interest in the area. Highly suggest to anyone. We will be sure to stay again when back in this area.

This place could not have been better! The house is charming, beautiful and perfect for families or couples (as we did our trip). There were seven of us, three couples and a single friend. We enjoyed the house every day. We cooked (you just have to buy the necessary, because the kitchen is amazingly great equipped). We enjoyed the jacuzzi and we are definitely coming back. I WILL GIVE THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE 5 ***** Close to everything, warm, nice, familiar and gorgeous!

My family and I have stayed at the home for two ski seasons, and plan to make it back again and again. Being that we are fans of the Kings Beach area, the location of this house is perfect. We are just minutes from both the beach and from the Northstar Ski Resort. The home is well equipped and even has a wonderful hot tub out back - perfect for a post ski or post hike soak. There are bedrooms on both the main and bottom floors, which make it nice for families or even friends looking for space. I highly recommend staying here when visiting the area.

We had a wonderful time at "LakeTaHome!" The house was very well equipped with everything you could need (The kitchen had everything except a carrot peeler - hopefully they'll have one soon :-). We were all struck by the high quality of everything in the home: the linens, the dishes, pillows, etc. It was NOT your typical rental home in that respect. We loved the extras, like robes and spa towels right outside the door to the spa. Our two-year old really loved the saucer-sleds in the garage - her first, and definitely not last, sled rides. Thanks for having them available to us. We hope to come back again. Thanks!

The house was everything and more than expected. It was updated with all the necessary amenities and very clean. It felt like home. My 2 young boys loved the hill next to the house for close sledding experience. The location is absolutely perfect for getting to the Lake side dinning and grociery shopping and minutes from our favorite ski resort, North Star. We have already booked our next week at the house this up coming winter.

Loved my stay at this home for it's new modern interiors and amenities, close proximity to Northstar, sweet hot tub on the deck for a long soak, comfortable beds and most of all really excellent and responsive homeowners. I had 6 people who had plenty of room, snowboard gear and all. Towels and linens, were nice and new, you can tell they care about interior design. At this house there was plenty of parking even when it snowed for our two suvs. There's a little small hill right next to the house we used to even sled between the trees. The kitchen was great to prepare large meals for all of us and we couldn't get enough of the awesome heater in the living room (there's heating throughout the house). Will absolutely try and come back next year and would recommend to all my friends and family.

Exactly what we were looking for We rent a cabin every year in the Tahoe area for Xmas. This was by far the best experience we have had. The cabin was excellent in many ways. Plenty of room, very clean. We enjoyed the small hill next to the cabin to sled. Large window's to watch all the beauty of the outdoors. The hot tub was perfect. Can't wait till next year to rent this property again. The owner's were wonderful as they responded to our email question's within the hour. Thank you for a great place to take my family and friends for the holiday's.

We've stayed here a number of times and it is our first pick when we are looking to rent a place in Tahoe. The place has everything you need and is great for a group of couples or families. The location is great for skiing and summer fun. Close to the lake and dining and in between two great ski resorts. The owners are easy to work with and very helpful. If you are looking for a memorable weekend toped off with a great place to stay - this is the place!!!!

The perfect getaway - all the amenities, with easy recreation access I've stayed at this home in both summer and winter, and will continue to do so. A clean, well-kept home with all of the amenities we need (adequate room, bbq grill, hot tub!!, clean sheets/towels/dishware/etc. In addition, it's got the perfect access to all the north shore recreational activities we enjoy - fly fishing on the truckee and little truckee rivers, mountain biking on the rim trail (and right out the front door!), 3 minutes to the lake, hiking and snowshoeing, and skiing/snowboarding at North Star, Mt Rose, Homewood, Alpine or Squaw within a 30-minute drive. We love staying there, a truly relaxing home away from home.

I had my whole family fly in from the East Coast and they loved it! It can be a big responsibility to pick the place for everyone. I had been to this house before and was confident they would all be happy. Everyone was. It's perfect in it's simplicity. Nicely decorated with exactly what you need - cozy sofas, and open living/dining/kitchen area, comfy beds that allow for different sleeping arrangements, kitchen essentials, bbq, hot tub, 3 bathrooms, cable TV, Wifi, 2 decks, nice neighborhood to walk around, our favorite beach, major grocery store and trailheads all within one mile. Everyone could have as much family time or alone time as they liked. Activities some or all of us did: swimming at Kings Beach right at the end of the road. My family loves that you can be on a lawn under shady trees when not in the water. Northstar: we rode the gondola to the top, ate our lunch, hiked across to the other gondola and came down, explored the Village at Northstar. Drove to Reno to be in a poker tournament, played golf (18 hole, 9 hole and mini). I've been back with another family, and the kids all referred to it as "my Tahoe house" immediately. Very cool.
